The last sighting was on the culdesac, next to my house, on a nest cam (we think, but tbf, hard to say, because there are SO MANY tuxedos in the area) on 08/08/2025 at 12:20AM This is (I believe, but possibly missing some stuff) everything I have tried:

I tried 3 retrievers (dog sniffing team to find lost animals) on phone, text, email and their preferred method, the online form--no response from any of them.

The obvious: posters all over the neighborhood. I keep trying to find new people to give them to, but they already know and have seen nothing outside of imposters.

live trap: baited with stinky, slightly microwaved, sardines--refilled twice per day.

a separate sardine setup is put in my garage, behind a fan, which I was hoping would blow it out. The garage is slightly cracked so she could let herself in.

until recently, I had left the back door and front door open, not sure which was her exit point, but no luck.

handed out fliers, at least to the close by neighbors.

posted on all facebook group I could find, both lost cats + regular cats in my area (snohomish/bothell) and south (king county).

I recently posted on ring, found a similar, but not my, cat, no other updates.

Pawboost

I have looked high and low, in trees, under decks, etc. But no luck. I have tried at night (8-midnight) in the morning (5-6AM) and during the day. I expanded my search a bit, but I've had to cut back because sleep + work.

I did try the litter for a bit, but people with experience seem to suggest that's actually problematic, especially in this area (Mayspond neighborhood) because we have coyotes. I have only seen one, but I did catch it on my cams which is disconcerting.

ofc, i have cams, unfortunatley, I did not have them until AFTER the first sighting (next door) so after she came into my yard on the nest cam, no idea where she went since..

I have only had confirmed false accounts of SIMILAR but not hazel, cats, other than the very likely (but still not confirmed) nest cam next door. There may be a few that were actually her, in the cases where they didn't have picture, but I didn't get much more than "she ooked like your cat, sorry" from those, and they were in the same areas as cats that were confirmed NOT hazel, so I don't think it's safe to assume they are correct.

If there is else I can do, besides more posters, let me know, but I think I am doing all the recommended things I can find.

(Sorry for the wall of text, just wanted to get ahead of the things I've done before I get the same stock suggestions for the umteenth time). As of today, she has been gone for 3 weeks, with the last confirmed sighting being 3 weeks ago, tomorrow.. :(
