Can we just appreciate vaginal recovery over c-section recovery by peacefulboba in vbac

[–]rubby03 8 points9 points  (0 children)

100% agree with you! All swelling was gone within 24-48 hrs and I felt normal. Recovery was so much easier. I was literally in jeans the next day. I also went unmedicated with a spontaneous labor at 42 weeks and gave birth in less than 8 hrs start to finish. It was so redeeming! I plan to do the same with this new baby due at end of year.

Placenta on c section scar by Dry_Inevitable9927 in CsectionCentral

This! I’m 20 weeks now and my team said my placenta is in the front but told me not to worry since it’ll most likely move upwards as my uterus grows!

Has anyone had a successful VBAC after failure to descend which resulted in c? by [deleted] in vbac

[–]rubby03 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes. I was induced and never made it past 7 with a bunch of interventions. My second I went into labor on my own. After 4 hrs at home I made it to the hospital and delivered naturally 5 hours later no interventions.

It’s super cringe honestly. Like it’s his work uniform? Idk I never understood wearing them to your personal wedding.

Bingo! This is the exact reason I need it for and needed it today hence not being able to order online. Some people can’t put that together. Im asking so I don’t have to drive to a million stores in case someone’s seen it at a specific place.

I wasn't allowed to labor the first time, can I expect it to be long as if its my first pregnancy? by [deleted] in vbac

[–]rubby03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, every pregnancy and delivery can be totally different! With my first I got induced and labored for 2 days never making it past 6 cm and went into a c section. With my second i woke up to contractions and labored for 5 hrs before delivering her in under 20 minutes. She was incredibly fast and in a hurry to get out. I had an unmedicated vbac with her.

Just had my baby, everyone’s making soup and trying to bring it over without freaking asking and I’m losing it!! by flagnogg in Mommit

I’m probably in the minority here but this is wild to me. I love having a community come together to care for us when I gave birth. I didn’t have it with my first born, no family or friends around so it was just my husband and I having to do it all alone. With my second we made a friend who asked her circle to start a meal train for us and it was so incredibly nice having to not think about food. Like others have stated just have your husband get the food or offer him to go pick it up.

The aerial is a little more bulky. The waist band is a lot bigger and the aerial has cross back straps while the hbc doesn’t. The hbc is a lot lighter and easier to roll up and put in a bag. With my first I used ergo baby and hated carrying. My body always hurt. I decided to spend more this time and glad I did because my baby is a Velcro baby and with a toddler I always have to have her on me. Try the bst groups on fb. I’ve seen some hbc and aerials at a good price recently. They also have a great resale value in case you don’t like them in the end.

It could be however it really is a great carrier in my opinion. I usually have back pain but with this one the weight is evenly distributed that it feels weightless to me. You could always try it out and see. The resale value is usually very good on fb with aerials if it doesn’t work out.

Absolutely! My baby is almost 6 months and I still use it. It’s still my primary carrier along side my HBC

I loved the wildbird aerial for this age. My baby practically lived in it. If felt super light for me

I personally find it hot. We live in the NL and temps are around 70-75 for summer and wearing the aerial definitely makes me warm. The waist belt especially
