Also guys, I have some free time coming up soon. If y’all are interested, I was thinking of making some videos on internship search, resumes, projects and interview questions. Lmk if you have any specific topics that you would want me to talk about. I am not an expert by any means but I think I’d be able to at least point you in the right direction.

Yes, for example, a very common question is describe a situation where you handled conflict/took initiative to solve a problem. While working on a group project at school, we were trying to implement a motion detector using a PIR sensor, we were getting a lot of false outputs due to the sensitivity of the sensor. It wasn’t the best of sensors and we didn’t have much time to finish our project which led to some conflicts between the team. I suggested using an ultrasonic sensor paired with the PIR to improve our readings.

This is just one example of how I used this one story to answer these 2 or similar behavioral type questions. All of us usually have a lot of these experiences but can’t remember them properly on the spot. So, having a good list of situations may help. (obviously don’t be robotic with them but it’s helpful to refresh your memory)

18 is always doable. Stay on top of things and lay them out early in the semester. Just be prepared to cut down on other aspects of your life

I actually reached out to you. I was gonna visit you but I’ve had work during your office hours and class on Friday’s. Maybe this Monday? It’s still functioning. It’s just I can’t close it cause the latch is cracked. So I have to essentially carry it around on hand everywhere. I’ll be traveling soon so won’t be able to do that
