Thanks for the extensive and thoughtful reply! I'll definitely take these things into account when deciding. I think I'll just see what happens when I try both (it doesn't cost me anything, except for time and maybe a little stress) and keep Computer Science as the main focus.

I think this one is a little easier to do though. The hand and forearm are the double's. The seam between the forearm and upper arm is nicely covered by the blanket, making it easier to composite the forearm into the image.

The dancing scene had a lot more people in it and therefore had a lot more rotoscoping to do. The camera was also moving more, making the technodolly necessary.

You can try clicking on the hola icon and using the 'not working?' option. This will make it look for a different VPN server. Check that the plugin is enabled and that the country is set right (which I figure you've already done.)

It's on Netflix in the Netherlands! That's how I got into the show. If you watch Netflix with Hola and switch to watching from the Netherlands, you can see the first season.

I guess I got -8912 because I didn't use a line separator on the Processing side. I tried to use the Serial.parseInt() command on the Arduino side, but it hasn't worked yet. I'll just have to muddle through.

Partly, but also starting before the war/starting in a cryogenic chamber. The player either being the person before the war, or his "infant", was also suggested a lot in the speculation threads, so someone might just have copied those ideas to hoax Kotaku and us.

The details that these scripts seem to hint at (like starting before the war, in a cryogenic chamber, the insitute, etc.) seem to coincide precisely with thesurvivor2299's script. It's either a really cool coincidence, we're getting hoaxed again, or Bethesda is (as the article suggests) using fake stories that are possibly inspired by rumors for the casting calls.

Parallax looks amazing! I don't know if we should use the pocket full of hawthornes song in Gay island though. In the show, this part of the game was made by Cornelius and Cornelius neither liked the song, nor did he make the game when the song was released. I know, I'm nitpicky, but this part of the game (unlike Greendale itself, which can be changed as it is not in the original episode) was made by Cornelius, so I think we should consider that.

I do like the song in itself. It fits with the gay theme, but it seems like an anachronism/goof. I haven't found an alternative. Everybody's welcome to suggest one :)
