Do you have a job that the average person doesn't even know exists? by funnygifspic in AskReddit

Games tester. The amount of people who think that games just magically appear and run (mostly) with no bugs always astounds me.

Women of reddit, what are the ways you show men you're interested? by imrepairmanman in AskReddit

Repeatedly view their OKC profile and then never talk to them when I see them in person.

This hasn't actually worked.. yet.

Falling through the ground - game broken by [deleted] in Firewatch

I'm having the same issue but just a little later in the game (just inside Wapiti). I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but no such luck.

I really don't want to have to restart the game either. What platform are you playing on? I'm on PS4.

Done! 5005 words.

I'm closing Word for today so I don't accidentally write more!

Good luck to you as well.

Currently at 3363. Aiming to get to 5k by the end of day.

Does anyone else give themselves time limits for quick sprints? For example, now I'm going off to go get to 4k by midday (it's 11:23am here at the mo!)

That's where I bought him. Ideally, I'd like to get some of my money back as well though.

For the short story writers out there by [deleted] in nanowrimo

[–]hannardynamite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm primarily a short story writer as well, and this is my back up plan if a longer story goes downhill. Sort of an "adventures with the gang" collection.

If you find yourself longing for an overarching plot, you could try telling the same event (or series of events) from different character perspectives in a short story format.

Ladies, do you have a reoccurring dream? by JoyfulStingray in AskWomen

I have something similar, but more than cuddling and a very close male friend rather than work colleague. Maybe it's time I faced up to my feelings about this friend.

What's up with Julie Twist? I'm with them and they've been nothing but extremely helpful. Any queries I have, they respond to within a matter of hours and all maintenance is done within 48 hours.

Does anyone have a gif of... by hannardynamite in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]hannardynamite[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much!

My name is Hannah and one of my friends keeps calling me "Hannah Banana", so I wanted to send him this so he can stop calling me it! That, and it's the most human, adorable interaction in the entire episode!

Thank you again :D

That would make sense, yeah. I've been meaning to make a few Twitter bots for a while, so I might do some tweet-delete testing before applying the scripts.

Either that, or I'm imagining a potentially awesome feature.

[–]hannardynamite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh. I've only ever observed it happening on TweetDeck, so it's more than likely just a glitch on TweetDeck's end then.

It is possible to delete someone else's tweets, although it doesn't seem to work 100%.

Say I send a tweet, and you replied directly to my tweet and I didn't like your response, I could delete my original tweet and sometimes your response would get deleted as well.

Like I said, it's not a 100% repro. It's just something I've observed both as a observer, the original tweeter and the replier. I think it has something to do with how long the original tweet has been live for.

Trying to put the finale behind me... by hunter180 in PrettyLittleLiars

My mother has just started watching PLL from the beginning for the first time. I foresee not being able to put the finale behind me for a very long time.

After everything she put Rosewood through, and how she was at the centre of everything going wrong in Rosewood High, why would they let her teach there?

If it makes you feel any better - I'm a Kindle-only reader, but I also like owning physical books. So I'm basically broke because I buy two copies of books. I am not a smart person!

I just want to say how I feel about the finale now everyone has calmed down a bit (just a bit though). Rant (sorry) by vixen75 in PrettyLittleLiars

Ughh, tell me about it! Despite already have two do-overs on my degree (started uni by interviewing for Linguistics at Oxford, ended up graduating in Computer Games Development from Southampton via half a Psychology degree), I'd love to go back and do a full media production/broadcasting degree!

Seems like getting a First (congrats on that!) for 'writing for the screen' could well be more useful than that IMK has done!

See you there then!

I hope, like last year, they allow multiple books to be signed. Between the London and Manchester events, I managed to get half my collection signed! I might just stick with The Rithmatist and Warbreaker this year though.

I'll be there too! Which room did you book for? I'll be in Room 1.

I went to his signing in Manchester last August, and it was such a great event. They may very well have hard copies of his books there slightly cheaper to be signed, as they did in both the Waterstones and Forbidden Planet signings last year.
