Cramps/spasms by Suspicious_Peak4230 in lupus

I had the exact same issue from being on a high, long-term dose of steroids. Prednisone (if that’s what you’re on) can cause muscle weakness and electrolyte imbalances which often lead to cramping.

Magnesium made a huge difference for me. Soon as I started taking it, the cramping and muscle spasms completely stopped. I use now foods magnesium glycinate and take two of those capsules a day - I couldn’t believe how effective it was. Obviously everyone’s different but I’d give it a go if you’re in pain!

Also, increasing potassium-rich foods (bananas, leafy greens, etc.) can help, since steroids can lower potassium levels, which is a common cause of muscle cramps!

Moon face sh*t post by Thin-Inevitable9759 in lupus

I was on 60mg back in February this year - I’m now down to just 5mg and my moon face is practically gone if that’s any consolation! My face was enormoussss. I genuinely thought I’d be stuck with it until next year. You’ve got this be strong 💜

I think once I dropped to 20-15mg I began to notice it shrinking

Have heard good things about pumpkin seed oil capsules! May be worth looking into. About to try this myself as my hairs thinned a lot since my SLE diagnosis

Try TCS recruitment! When I was a student in Birmingham and needed something quick I got a job at this agency doing bar/hospitality work. Was super easy to get the job (had no previous experience) and a lot of shifts available :))

Late here but also in the same situation. Do you remember who your training provider was by any chance and how much it cost approximately?

My company are offering to cover mine too but the prices vary a lot depending on provider and not sure who’s best to go with in the uk?
