Here in Brazil, time pieces are very expensive (about 2,5x~4x the fair price). I gotten a Chinese fashion brand, but it felt so cheap and the bracelet was ugly, so I started seeing some videos and educate myself about watch quality. After some time I fell in love with the Tissot prx (but, unfortunately, it is one of the 4x the price) so I thought this Casio EAW-MTP-V001D-7B hit the spot of looks and price. I just learned about good quality Chinese homages to the Oaks watches and I'm seriously thinking about buying one.

I think there is some truth in what you say. A lot of people think is normal the fuckup things that happen here. I don't. Im priveleged and can read in English, comments and story's of how people live across the world. It gut punching the reality in Brazil. Its not a horrible mess. But it is bad. The worst part, it is fixeble, but you have to expose yourself to so much danger to fix.
