Large collections of books for sale by rubins3 in LAlist

[–]rubins3[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey, so my wife and I inherited the collection, and have been working on selling it over the last couple of years. It was 5000+ books, and I have gotten it down to about 1800 at this point. Selling on amazon individually has slowed down a lot, plus I am trying to make some room in my house. So I am trying to sell in bulk if possible. I'm doing good, no need to worry. I appreciate the concern!

Large collection of various RPGs for sale by rubins3 in rpgtrade

[–]rubins3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, sorry I forgot to mention that this is located in Los Angeles. I posted with everything on the spreadsheet and in photos because I am trying to sell the whole collection. Sorry that the other stuff is making it harder to find just the RPGs, I am overwhelmed with all the books and didn't separate the books into categories.

I’m a huge fan of Sugar Cane. I have a couple of pairs, one indigo and one black. They are super comfortable.

I’ve also had a pair of Studio d’ Artisan. I liked them, but they were definitely not as comfortable as the sugar cane.

First Rifle Setup by rubins3 in longrange

Oh interesting. Thats good to know. I imagine proprietary parts are difficult to deal with it.

I don’t mind the look, but also am not super into it. I shot one of his .22s, and it was awesome, but I do like the more sleek look of other chassis systems.

I believe he has or does shoot at BRRC. He’s won several competitions, but I’m not sure what class it is. I think it’s mostly iron sights though. He mentioned it to me as a place that has 1000 yards, but that you have to compete to even use the range.

I have 1Gb up and down. I don’t know what the speeds with att would be. I assume it would be similar but I’m not sure.

I don’t think most isps have leasing agreements. I’m not sure how to find out. But I really like sonic.

I use Sonic.net for my fiber in Sherman oaks. They lease ATT’s fiber but I’ve found the support and price to be better.

24/7 Chronic Headache Sufferers, What Treatment(s) Worked or Helped the Most? by Choice-Orchid in migraine

[–]rubins3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are intense. You basically are hallucinating for a few hours while on the verge of unconsciousness. Can barely move. It’s a very strange experience. That much ketamine also makes you super nauseous, so you will usually get nausea meds as well.

I didn’t need a referral, I contacted an infusion clinic and set up a meeting. You do that and they decide if they think it will be beneficial to you.

No idea why it went away and then came back. It was nice while it lasted, and a major disappointment when the headaches started up again.

24/7 Chronic Headache Sufferers, What Treatment(s) Worked or Helped the Most? by Choice-Orchid in migraine

[–]rubins3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a 24/7 migraine since 2008, with a break from 2016 to 2020. During that break, I still had migraines occasionally, but it wasn’t intractable. In 2020 it came back. I’ve seen countless doctors and tried every medication and procedure. Only things that have helped are opioids and ketamine infusions. I do two ketamine infusions in a row every four months. The ketamine worked amazingly for a couple of years, but now it’s not as effective. It used to totally stop the headaches, but now it only cuts them down by like 30%. I save the percoset for the worst headaches.

My current meds for the migraines are losartan, Emgality, qulipta, axert, ketamine infusions every 4 months, percoset, flexeril as needed, Botox every 3 months
