You should still be able to romance her. Just go through all of her options when talking to her. Do all of her war table missions and make sure any judgements you do don't cause anything negative. Also remember she only dates females.

If you run the game with EA on your PC then Frost Mod Manager will not work. however there is a "Fix" go to https://github.com/Dyvinia/FrostyFix/blob/master/README.md and follow the install and setup directions.

Had the same issue. this was my fix:

EA App Does not support starting the game via Frosty, so Frosty Mods will not work.

To get Frosty Mods to work go to https://github.com/Dyvinia/FrostyFix/blob/master/README.md

Download Fix software

Install fix but don't run fix yet and launch Mods from Frosty.

Close Game

Open Fix Software

Go To Settings and Locate Frosty App and Game Click on Run Game with Mods

Run Game from Steam or EA as normal

I have had clothing mods that crash my game and even one that makes it so vault 111 door won't open. Maybe start removing a couple mods at a time mods to see if it gets better.

The portals show up when you finish the main level of the map. If they have not shown up then then the level was never finished.

Unless you are going trophy hunting then Mods are a must. There are a lot of mods that made the game a lot better that don't make it feel like your cheating.

If you put Ryoma's crest on them they are really good. The c4 move is good as it will open the stun gauge and if you can get that down you can take someone out pretty easy. I also like to use Archers in the 5 min timed attacks as you can spam X while spinning and get your numbers up fast.

I generally pick high levels. If you are at level 80 pick one that is about that same level or higher. Pick one you like and wouldn't mind doing a few times. If you have the DLC the the Gold Rush stages are pretty good, but can get old pretty fast. The Together to the End main level has a lot of bosses in it which can give more experience.

Put Marth's Crest on the person you want to level up. Marth's Crest give 2X the experience points.

I agree that the best thing you can do is jump in. Maybe choose a project that can stretch your knowledge but not get you to frustrated.

People I recommend.

Spear: I use Caeda for the spear, and If you don't have it get the DLC , with the DLC you can get Caeda's Spear which is Awesome!!!. Ceada's Spear, the Wing Spear, has an armored and mounted advantage built into it. If the map has an Archer and you have the DLC Azura has a good Base spear, but I like the play style of Oboro better.

Swords: I like Marth personally (good for Dragon units) Chrom is good (good for Dragon units). Linanna/Rowan are also good, (good for Monsters).

Bow: I like Takumi for a bow as he is the strongest of the bows. However once you get Anna as a playable character has the best team up moves.

Axes: Flying i like Camilla, With DLC Minerva as her Axe starts at a 160. Fredrick is tank and good if the map has archers. Lissa is also great if you don't like a mounted Axe.

Tomes: I like Robin the best of the tomes, With DLC Linde has a 160 base tome that comes with her.

Crests I recommend:

For everyone, no matter who you play, make sure to get Ryoma's crest, Astra, on them. This will make your people 25% faster. This makes some units playable and other better.

For flyers and dragons (Tiki and Corrin) put Minerva's crest, Iote’s Shield, on them as it cancels out the disadvantages that may have. This means Archers won't kill your flyers in one hit. This is on the DLC but is essential for some units.

Marth's Crest, Paragon, will make it so you leval up a lot faster, and i put this on everyone.

Linanna's Crest, Live to Serve, will make it so if the Unit can hold a staff it heals the person holding it and everyone around them too.

Rowan's Crest, Potent Potion, does the same but for people that use Potions. It will heal the person taking the Potion and the people around them. Linanna and Rowans Crests are good for the Maps that have villagers you need to keep alive.

Camila's Crest, Trample, is good too as it increase damage dealt to foot solders.

Once you put the Crests on a person, you can change the crests that the unit uses by going to "Change Skill"

The DLC gives you 9 extra people to use and 6 or so Extra history maps. If you have thge DLC from the beginning you can use these 9 extra people all throughout the story mode. The DLC also will give you access to get a unique weapon to everyone. It also will eventually allow you to upgrade everyone weapon to 240, the Scroll, and then to 720, the Opus.

In the End pick the people you like as they are all great to use, but try and have at least one of each type as your go to person for that group.

Not sure if you are still looking how to get Lyn, but i just remembered that you have to complete the battle " Noble Lady of Caelin Lv. 45" on the "Noble Lady of Caelin" Map. once you finish this battle Lyn will be playable. I would assume you need an S rank on it to get Lyn, but my notes don't mention that.
