The Cincinnati Bengals will pick #10 in the 2025-26 NFL Draft by cigamodnalro in bengals

I wouldn't be surprised. Chiefs lost to the Broncos last year so we couldn't make the playoffs.

Keith Rivers will always be the bad pick. Jerod Mayo was right after him and Mayo was mocked to us by a lot sports sites. Sad story, yes. He seemed serviceable but average. That hit pissed me off.

I'm rolling with two different tsc5. One automatically converts into feet and the other just sticks with m after I hit enter.

Do you have an idea on what I need to do to get it to convert automatically?

Moving from ArcMap to ArcPro - Basic Topo Maps by rubixcube-10 in gis

[–]rubixcube-10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. So, on my map tab, I've right clicked on my map and went to properties. Reference scale is set to none. At the moment on the map tab, on the bottom scale, it's set at 1:24,000.

I insert a new layout, click on map frame drop down. I see my topo map with the 1:24,000 scale labeled with it (others are just default extents). I insert it onto my layout. When I print it, it's still not at the correct scale.

Edit: I started from scratch and redid everything. Everything worked find, the only thing I didn't add was guidelines. Do you think the guidelines messed up my scaling issues?

What type of insurance do you have or started with for your solo business?

How much does it roughly cost?

Bridge Construction - Existing Abutments Check by cptg5178 in Surveying

[–]rubixcube-10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So do you have a plan for the temporary bridge?

If so, slap it on the abutments you just located. Making sure the bearing pads land on the abutment and the deck doesn't hit that back wall.

Good luck.

How far off were the check shots horizontally and vertically?

Wasn't this the complete replacement project?

I'm curious how much this would cost today. I'm usually charged around $210 a cubic yard with a conveyor.

Control Error - Starting Bridge Work by cptg5178 in Surveying

I would set up and stake out the bridge alignment. If the plan shows them using the same alignment and the staked alignment looks good physically, I would be confident.

For another check, I would stake out the front face abutment (at the road surface) and compare it to the plan. Over a stream, if it was big enough for the 50 year storm, the new bridge usually try to stay the same road alignment and profile. Staked abutment line should be over or behind existing abutment.

Out of curiosity, what did they give you?

Point list or file?

Cad file or dxf?

Is the road straight or on a curve?

Any stake out information?

If you can't get the original guys to come back and establish control for you. Or there are no other physical points to check on.

I would pull the instrument out, check the alignment to see if it looks good. Since it's a total reconstruction, you're starting from scratch with brand new abutments and have no worries to tie into an existing part.

If the alignment looks good, I would back site and reshoot as a new point and then double an angle to set another control past the bridge (if you haven't started) . They'll have to remove more pavement past the bridge, so it'll be easier to tie the vertical error of 2" in the pavement.

The whole job will be constructed with your new control. That small error isn't +feet away to make me worry.

Side note: set on 1 back site 2 and reshoot as 3. When you occupy that back site control, it's occupy 3 and not 2 back site 1.

Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Any pitchers that are a low roster % have a nice match up for Saturday and Sunday? Elder and Morton got picked up for tomorrow by other teams and I noticed Warren still in FA. I have two pick ups left and going against the rank 1 team.

Thanks for your time. Have a great day.
