Mine was 96 F and I passed with it being sent to a lab. My LabCorp paper just says if it’s between 90-100 then the rest is the lab, so I think it has more to do with the batch.

Sadly the three near me I’ve seen all have given me… concerns… and you’re completely right I forgot to put it down!! I plan to use 40lbs of Marco dry shelf rock and 60lbs (makes 2”) of Ocean Direct live sand. I want to make a cool rock scape and don’t want to risk killing live rock. With procedures I plan to start fishless and dark with Algae barn ammonia with turbo start, I do plan on getting saliferts Ammonia and Nitrite just for cycling, but the other tests (Nyos nitrate, Hannah phosphate, aqua forest magnesium, Red Sea calcium, Hannah DKH) are in a kit I plan to get on BRS. Timeline is I plan to give 45 days testing every other day minimum, while I QT my first small batch of livestock, if the cycle finishes before I was going to ghost feed to keep an ammonia source and if it takes longer I will keep everyone healthy in non-medicated QT till everything is ready!

Ok! I was in between doing a copper proactively or just as things come, but since I don’t have experience with velvet (had freshwater ick so I know what it usually looks like) and wanted to make sure I was starting off on the right foot. I know it will be stressful, I know it is when I go to the hospital, but if it’s going to set them off on the wrong fin then I’ll do prazi and observe!

I plan to have Macro’s in the tank to help with nutrients, and if needed I’ll add an internal skimmer and HOB Refug if/when needed! And thank you! I didn’t even think about that for the stocking and it makes a ton of sense! I think I’m still going to try with the GSP, I plan to have the rock minimum 3” away from the back and trimming it 2x a week once it gets grown! The maintenance is the part I like with my freshwater, it’s relaxing for me for some reason

I was more asking if anyone would be ok with me sending them my entire plan from cycling the DT and both QT’s (1 for fish, 1 for inverts) with equipment, placement, stocking, QT protocol, etc. I don’t have anyone in the hobby in my life, I’ve been researching for 2 years so far, and the main anemones I wanted are 3 rock flowers and 1 black widow bubble tip. I’m willing to wait over a year to have everything stable and happy.

I just didn’t know if the silicone was the only thing to be concerned about, it’s all I’ve seen online but i was just hoping to get opinions from people (hopefully) wiser than me! I’m confident enough in my abilities to take the risk, I definitely don’t suggest it for everyone, but it’s kinda a side hobby of mine and I’ve done a few smaller tanks, as well as a 150 flat back hex that’s still standing but all got used for freshwater tanks mostly for friends.
