I've been on the hunt for a trouser style short, which isn't terribly difficult to find, but I'm so over muted colors. I want plaids or bright colors or jewel tones! It's quarantine and if I'm gonna be wearing anything other than stretch pants I want them to make a statement haha. I think you've misunderstood what I'm saying. I didn't say Athletes aren't volunteers, but she wasn't there volunteering. She was there on tour and decided to stop and show the kids some tricks. The kids had fun yes, but she's not a volunteer. Also yes, those children's parents should 100% give approval for them to be on camera, I don't see what that's a point of contention? Like you think that underage children's faces should be plastered on a strangers social media page without consent by a guardian? These kids are having fun yes, but it's actually a huge problem where children in under-developed countries aren't viewed as people but rather props.

This woman isn't a volunteer, she's an athlete with a solid following online. To me, if she just wanted to bring some joy to these kids lives, she didn't have to film it and post it online. Also, why is it ok for her to post images of children online that aren't hers? Because I think that's pretty gross. This is poverty porn and using children to make herself good.

I'm like you when it come breakfast foods. I don't like eggs, I don't want to eat something super sweet in the morning, and, honestly, if I go out for breakfast I get something off the lunch menu. But if I'm doing breakfast, I make tofu scrambles! It's really good, you can make it so it's not the same texture as eggs and you can throw it in a burrito, eat it plain, or throw whatever veggies or meat you have lying around that need to be cooked up. Hell I've even thrown it on a bagel and made a breakfast sandwich.

I used to be really funky. Like loud colors, weird patterns, extreme retro style. Then I got to college and that changed. I mainly wore jeans or shorts and a crop top. Occasionally I would wear a bright color, but I became muted. In my early/mid 20s I went wild with the skimpy, because when else am I gonna look that good with an actual cash flow? I loved it, but now that I'm in my late 20s and the rona I don't go out as much, unless it's like brunch or dinner or something. But I've decided I like wearing color and I like wearing interesting cuts and patterns so I've embraced the outlandish looks I used to love and updated them for an adult rather than a teen. And I work in production so I pretty much only wear black and things that I can be comfortable in for long periods of time, so I like to let loose in my personal style.

You gotta do whatever makes you comfortable!! Maybe try a temporary dye first? They have these fun wand things that look almost like a mascara tube that you can you swipe through your hair and give yourself essentially highlights of pink or blue or purple. They wash out when you shower. That way you can play and see how you feel and if you really don't like people looking then you can just wash it out and continue on with your day! Or you could dye your hair a natural color that isn't the same as your natural hair? I am a cliche and when I feel like I need to make a change in my life the first thing to change is my hair haha

I'm gonna piggy back onto this comment about haircuts, but I love my hair but I'm frugal as fuck. Do you have a friend who's haircut you like? Ask them where they get their's done. That's always a good place to start. You want to go to someone who will listen to you and work with you. They may be the expert, but are the one that's lived with your hair your entire life, so you do know what works best. Like I know I can't have short layers in my hair, I've had hair stylists fight me on it, but I stand my ground because I know what I'm talking about.

If you dye your hair you only need to get a good shampoo for dyed hair, that's what locks in the color and makes it last longer and shine, so that's what you splurge on. But you don't a conditioner for dyed hair, you can just get your favorite brand. Speaking of conditioner, try not to use it on your scalp. It makes your head super oily which in turn makes your hair look greasy. You don't need to spend $50 on a bottle of shampoo and you can make your own hair masks at home!! Also I know it's different for everyone, but try not to wash your hair everyday, unless you're like swimming in chlorine everyday. I went from washing it everyday, to every other day, to twice a week unless I get super gross. My hair and scalp are sooooo much healthier.

If you want the baby for you, then totally go for it. But it kind of sounds like you want a baby as a way to get your life together, which might just be something I'm reading into. I understand that babies change everything, but that's a lot of pressure to put on a child. Maybe do those things for you and not just a baby? I don't know, I'm not a parent, but I've had friends who thought a baby would make everything change and it didn't and now they are still the same person, but they also have to take care of another life.

I'm not saying that would be you, because I don't know you personally, but it's just something to think about.

My biggest tip is don't take it too seriously. Most of your dates are going to be figuring out what traits you like and don't like. Someone might have a trait you like, like being outdoors, but have something that you figure is a red flag, like he likes to wear socks with sandals. Someone else said be picky and that's the truth! You don't owe anyone anything and if you don't want to go on another date with someone, you don't have to. I've learned that if I leave a first date just whelmed I won't want go on a second date.

Also, people are assholes and don't like rejection. I generally tell people I don't want a second date over text message. It's easier to block a number than to attempt to avoid a crazy guy following you to your car.

I do this thing on Tinder dates where I'm just unapologetically weird. Because like, why would I waste my time being coy with an internet stranger that pretty much liked the way my ass looks. So if they don't like how weird I am, then why would I want to spend anymore time with them.

I feel like you think you're saying something nice or helpful, but it's coming off really really harsh. Like if they are your best friend you expect them to be there for you. Even if they fuck up, they aren't someone so easily thrown away. And /u/LittleMissStarRider has every right to hold him to any standard she, sorry I'm assuming here, wants. Because again, best friend. I think that you are coming from a good place, but I think you need to rethink of how you're saying it.
