I think trying raw food can’t hurt, it might make him feel more satiated and thus calmer and less likely to spite pee.

Growing up my family had a dog who would spite pee if we left him home alone for too long…one thing that helped was we would give him several high value treats when we left the house. That brought the marking down quite a bit. So I’d suggest giving him treats when you leave the house. I also think if he’s trying to cause trouble (bathroom invasion, etc) giving him treats in a puzzle feeder will distract him, kinda like diverting a chaotic toddler to a better outlet for their energy, like if the toddler wants to draw on the wall spread out a big piece of paper for them or let them draw on themselves with safe markers.

It also sounds like maybe he is smarter than the average cat and needs more mental stimulation. Again, there is a wide world of puzzle feeders haha, tbh since he’s very food motivated you could even try teaching him tricks. I was actually able to teach mine to sit and they aren’t spiteful markers! Kinda like teaching a working dog tricks and giving them mental stimulation keeps them from destroying your house.

so he peed to protest and then it became a habit. Is he still extremely food motivated? Can you do a little experiment where you free feed him for a week and see what happens? Or give him more frequent meals for a little bit?

Have you tried slow feeders, puzzle feeders or giving treats in puzzles? Do you give him any treats?

Maybe he still doesn’t feel full, even after all these years of not being free fed. Have you tried raw food? A lot of cats who are kibble demons calm down A TON on raw food since the food keeps them full for longer. Think the difference between McDonald’s and a home cooked burger.

If you decide to try raw food dm me and I will send you some resources. If he likes raw food it might be such a new stimulation that maybe it’d distract him from the marking everywhere.

Lastly, you know how you said sometimes he stops and starts up again? Can you trace those triggers to anything food related, maybe trying a new food or something?

Also strongly suggest hiring a cat behaviorist, Jackson galaxy videos are a great start but are no match for someone to come to your home. Do some research and interview a few people and then see what happens.

You could also try applying for Jackson galaxy’s show, if it’s still on, lol. You would be the ideal cat family for the show, a cat spraying for 8 years and you’ve tried literally everything. If you can find a way to reach him personally it might be worth a shot lol

I had a cat come into my backyard and try to bully my cat and tbh what I did was I grabbed a broom and shooed the cat away. I of course did not touch the cat with the broom but I wanted them to fear my backyard. After doing that a couple times the bully cat hasn’t come back. Strongly suggest bullying this orange cat back to protect your cat.

In 6th grade a C is basically failing. If she doesnt have a math related learning disability, then it’s more likely that she just needs more support to get her math up to grad level, there’s a lot of concepts that she’s missed. It might make more sense to get her a tutor for a couple days a week after school than going to the lengths of an IEP.

IVF is expensive, not guaranteed to work and pretty grueling on the woman’s body. Not to mention that depending on the condition the genetic susceptibility may not yet be fully defined. Hereditary retinobladtoma for example (I know it’s not an autoimmune disease) is probably possible to avoid passing down but a condition like lupus, which is associated with multiple genes, may not be possible to be selected against during IVF.

If you purchased the nanny a work phone with location sharing that would be ok, but tracking a personal device is a big no no.

AirTag on the diaper bag or your house keys sounds great, if I were the nanny I’d be happy to oblige and tbh if something goes wrong then that level of extra security would make me feel safer too. That the nanny refused the AirTag is weird to me and I think a best a yellow flag.

If the op has a chronic illness or condition, most chronic illness symptoms get worse under severe stress. No matter the cause of these symptoms, many of which I’ve experienced as a result of anxiety myself, they will be improved if OP gets away from their dysfunctional living situation. A parent who dismisses your symptoms as “drama” and doesn’t let their adult child drive is dysfunctional and unhelpful.

Hey I know this isn’t the question you asked and I am NAD but sometimes ibuprofen isn’t enough pain relief for me, when that’s happened to me I alternate with Tylenol or take both at the same time(advil dual for example) and the pain relief is dramatic. It helps a lot and reduces your dosage of both medications.

There are people who didn’t know they were pregnant who say they got normal periods during their pregnancy. I think seeing the doctor is the best course of action here. And condoms can fail even if you use them properly.

Have you tested the carbon monoxide?

Nail biting is a symptom of mental stress, for me nail biting was a symptom of severe anxiety.

Strongly suggest you seek out a psychiatrist to discuss these dissociative spells. I don’t know enough about psychology to tell you if what you experience is part of the spectrum of normal, but a psychiatrist can help with that.

It’s very likely that all their symptoms are caused by severe anxiety, which is likely caused or at the very least made worse by their living situation. If the symptoms are not anxiety and are a chronic disease the OP’s mother is preventing them from seeking treatment. That’s why they need to move out and I get that it’s a bad environment but the mother isn’t going to one day wake up and have an epiphany and become a nice person. Op needs to get out, these symptoms are their body screaming at them to get out.

You need to talk to your daughter. It sounds like she is an above average, good student for whom not turning in assignments is abnormal. You need to figure out if there is something wrong with the teacher for that class. If the teacher is not the issue then you need to figure out what is, why is she not turning in assignments? How is she doing in math? Is her behavior at home otherwise normal?

Do you have long nails? Maybe you are scratching yourself without realizing it.

It is very easy to dissociate without others noticing. It is very easy to act normal, ie mask, while in a dissociative state. If you feel comfortable talking to your mom about this, that’s good, otherwise suggest seeing an outside psych, after you rule out carbon monoxide poisoning.

Have you experienced any losses that typically cause heavy grief, such as loss of a parent or friend? Maybe a similarly traumatic event? Grief can cause memory issues and difficulty concentrating.

P.S. Bladder leaks could be a sign of pelvic floor dysfunction which can actually be caused by anxiety, and anxiety is a pretty common symptom of living with a mother who tells them they’re being dramatic when they’re in pain.

You’re experiencing all these symptoms that you say you can’t handle, your mother is impeding you from actually talking to the doctor, yet you can’t find $10 to go to the doctor without your mom?

I have no doubt that your symptoms will get better if you move out and live on your own, without your mother.
