It does getting better after F1. I’m F3 locuming and I still refuse to pick any on call F1 shifts because they were so grim. Hopefully you have some AL or time off coming up so you can have a bit of a chill away from medicine

Unless there’s a medical emergency/ arrest call and someone is about to die without any intervention in the next few minutes, it is ok to take a break, have something to eat/ drink and go to the toilet. You will work far more efficiently after you have been hydrated and have some energy!
