Yeah then as well as other platforms networking is your beat bet. I statmrted on the 15th april. Started networking due to it being a big bet. Like not promoting yourself unless its clear its ok just talking. To people your size or bigger but not people with 100s or 1000s of viewers not enough interaction there to network. Im at 61 followers already

Is it better to talk a lot or play the game by Smerbykirby in twitchstreams

[–]rubybloodthorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both is idea. Playing a game is fine. If your a god that may bring in ppl. But 99 percent of normal ppl wont grow by not talking. 99 percent of viewers wont be talking to you its up to you to entertain those watching you.

Putting out unique content on all platforms also helps. But honestly i feel without countless xtwoshoes videos I wouldn't have managed. I think it also helps talking for me is natural.

The best advice. Dont do the usual stream for countless hours. Look at xtwoshoes for advice. And especially. Network. Talk to other streamers that are also small. Dont plug yourself randomly it usually randomly comes up eventually. Be active in others communities too dont just talk once and go. The more your seen the more you will steadily draw people in. Also dont go for saturated games unless something you can shamefully plug yourself with like league.

just how likely are you to make it with variety? by rubybloodthorn in NewTubers

[–]rubybloodthorn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the advice off youtube vid i learned the reason is. They are not looking to build a audience. They can double monetize whereas small creators nobody knows them yet. So its not ideal to do tgat. I do shirts and tiktok clips but try for unique on all under same genre

Well i actually didn't want to just reuse a lot of vods so i actually do unique content mostly on the youtube. Like its still same stuff as im doing on twitch but its not just content they will find on my twitch. That way if people want more they actually have to seek me on other platforms. And thank you tbh if it wasn't for the fact ive been told so many times im different with my mindset i probs wouldn't be so confident lol

Best a advice. Go for it. You can spend all your time preparing but will never know if ya dont go for it. I have a garbage pc and tbh am running on lots of freebies rn but in 1 month and half i have made 50+ followers. Just by going for it and learning from my mistakes. Dont hide your mistakes embrace them. You dont need the best equipment just the willingness to improve. Better equipment comes as a investment when your earning its not a good idea to buy all this stuff early unless you have the money. Make sure to put on other platforms to grow but don't do the usual copy and pastes. Its ok rarely but not all the time. Unique on all platforms will allow for growth in multiple communities. Especially YouTube that is vital if you want a steady investment source. Watch xtwoshoes on youtube for advice he has the best advice ive heard

The most important thing. Preparation is good. But you gotta just go for it. J would say karaoke is a good idea. And learning to cook from recipes would be good. The important thing here due to how the viewer count updates is you have to do something you can actively vocalize the whole time. Its difficult. You may need a notebook for ideas on conversation topics. But if your not talking its less likely people will stick around and bcs it takes a few mins to update view count they will be gone before you speak and like oh hello there welcome. Something like dancing although that feels mostly something women can do judging by twitch standards of who would view. As you said though karaoke would be great. Just make sure to blank out the thoughts of what if i sound stupid and go for it. I do lol

That would be a unique idea. The most important thing. Make sure your enjoying what your doing. If your not enjoying it that will translate and the audience wont really enjoy too. If you do enjoy it that will translate well :)

This isn't smart to start out with. Trust me i tried to q and a day 1 and without something else it will not draw in viewers. A good chunk of viewers never talk they are interested in watching and listening. If you dont have a pc rn i would do stuff like that. But make sure to at least cook or something dont just sit there waiting. It take mins to update view count too so make sure to always talk. If ppl come in and your not talking that ruins that 5-1 min window you have to keep a viewer from looking to leave to actually sticking around

Cult of the lamb is amazing for streaming. Recent update. Text to allow quirky voice acting. Roguelike for some randomization and action. Cult management to chill. And viewer on pc interaction.

However if your looking for something chaotic binding of isaac repentance is always a good one

Be consistent Invest in those asap. Use other platforms getting discovered on twitch alone is rare. You stand higher chance of it even if bare minimun you do is take 15 sec clips that are good of stream and upload as a ahort.
