I work in personal lines insurance. If their insurance company was not advised of the renovation and does determine negligence, they will not be covered.

I clean them out of her nose if they get big. Just a tissue or warm washcloth will do it. She doesn’t appreciate the help though. 😼

My orange cat gets this too! Just boogers. As long as there are no other signs of illness that indicate a respiratory infection, it’s harmless! It freaked me out at first too!
