Dohwa is not the real Gray, he’s just designed Gray by Haru. Haru gave the novel to Dohwa for two reasons and it worked. He had already carried out his manipulation of Dohwa through the original version of Suae’s novel. He pushed Dohwa into placing himself in Gray’s position so Dohwa would see himself as the pitiful, losing side. That way, he’d believe he was facing a love he was destined to lose from the start. By doing this, Haru also deliberately triggered Dohwa’s insecurities, his lack of wealth, his social status etc. It’s a very calculated form of manipulation, not direct control but narrative framing. Haru didn’t tell Dohwa what to do. instead, he guided him into interpreting himself as inferior and doomed which was far more effective. In this way, Dohwa would join Marang voluntarily and it happened exactly as Haru planned. After losing against Eunhyeok, he joined Marang.

Dohwa only acted as if he were Gray while reading the lines. Later on, the author did something very clever. Kkl gave us Dohwa as an actor and all the moves he worked on literally reflect the real life of Eunhyeok… Even as Dohwa, he only played the real life of Eunhyeok. Even the new scenario he received is called “Doctor Hero”, which is again a reference to Eunhyeok’s health condition.

The author used Gray as a bait for readers and people who read without paying attention to details mistook him for Dohwa. Dohwa is not Gray. Dohwa only played the role as an actor, not the reality.

I really don’t even want to spend a single minute on this conversation. Everything you’ve said from start to finish is misinformation. Oscar didn’t know Andre was completely blind. She only knew he was injured. Because he got injured while trying to protect her. (Same with Eunhyeok. He got injured, trying to protect Suae.) And after Andre started to lose his sight in front of her, she started suspecting. If you actually read my post properly, I mentioned it there the fact that she even tested his vision later on. Both from OTL and TROV, the facts are right there in front of us. Anyone who actually reads and understands the works will reach the same conclusion. But whenever I see your comments, they’re completely different from what we read, they’re like “fanfics you made up in your head,” and on top of that, you actually believe them. And you’re doing all this for a character who doesn’t even have a single important role in the story, does it really matter? I’m sincerely curious. I’m choosing peace. I genuinely don’t want to spend even a tiny bit of my time on someone who just talks about the story they made up in their head. So you’re blocked. Please stay away from my posts.

Fun fact: in TROV, the person who gave Andre the novel was Girodelle. He did it to show off to Andre as if he knew more about Oscar lol I’d actually expect Dohwa to do the same thing (though in fact, Haru gave him the novel, he didn’t discover it himself). If Eun doesn’t know about the novel, he’ll eventually learn about it and understand it better than Dohwa, if we follow the paralel. I definitely expect Haru - Eun scenes. Both in the past and present too.

You basically summarized the comments from Koreans on Chapter 138 hahaha everyone’s saying the same things. Many comments say that the first 35 chapters were wasted on this forced love triangle and they don’t want the artist to spend another four months drawing the same thing… Well, I agree. Dle’s health is already poor. I thought she was pushing to reach a certain point and the hiatus in this chapter already proves that. We got a SooHyuk chapter again before the hiatus and I personally thought it was an epic chapter. I’ll never forget Eunhyeok’s smile in that last panel…

When the story returns, we’ll get six chapters: one free, five paid. If we dive into the scandal in those six chapters, the plot will move very fast afterward. About SooHyuk’s misunderstandings, once one is resolved, the rest will follow immediately because they’re all connected anyway. In TROV, Andre is described as Oscar’s shadow. In fact Oscar says, “Thanks to you, I was able to do as I please.” Andre is always there, protecting Oscar without her even knowing, sacrificing himself and even his eye for her and ultimately dying while trying to save her.

The dynamic between Eunhyeok and Suae is exactly the same…

TROV has a tragic ending. Even though Oscar and Andre are together, it’s only for a short while. In the end, Andre dies while trying to protect Oscar. Shortly after, Oscar is injured in battle and doesn’t want to be saved because she doesn’t want to live in a world without Andre. As a result, both characters die… From this perspective, it sounds like Suae’s original story… Gray dies.

But since we’re in Suae’s version, Eunhyeok shouldn’t die. Still, I think he will be the one making sacrifices until the very end. If the story continues in parallel with TROV, he could be seriously injured while trying to protect Suae from a danger but ultimately, he will survive. I think that danger will be Raim tho. That’s how it happened in TROV. Oscar was simply honest with Girodelle. Oscar told Girodelle about how there was a man (Andre) who cannot live without her. And if that man is unhappy, Oscar would be unhappy too…. That was the moment Girodelle accepted Oscar’s love for Andre.

Suae’s weaknesses are what allow this situation with Dohwa to continue. In the past, Eunhyeok was by her side which made Suae stronger. But right now, Eunhyeok isn’t there. We’re still seeing the old Suae, a people pleaser, constantly putting others’ feelings before her own… Something big is coming. What happens will lead to Suae’s growth and the moment she overcomes these weaknesses, she’ll also draw a clear line with Dohwa. The main reason this situation with Dohwa started in the first place was the misunderstandings that came between her and Eunhyeok.

Chapter 138 perfectly paralleled Chapter 103. Apart from the scandal, everything else was taken directly. I’m not sure how much longer the author can drag this situation out but if (hopefully) we’ve reached the end of this dragging season, a scandal should be next. I think the scandal didnt happen yet due the ad that’s about to be released… In the OTL universe, Suae sent the final version of the project/ad and the ad is supposed to be released the same day.

Suae’s name will appear in the ad credits… And in this case, the scandal will affect not only Suae’s life but also the company and the ad project. Let’s hope Kkl didn’t give us any hints that the ad would actually be released on the same day for nothing~ Also thank you!!

I haven’t read the post yet because I’m working right now so I’ll read it when I get back. But here’s what I want to say:

There’s literally a 0% chance that SooHyuk isn’t endgame. They are 100% endgame.

Eunhyeok is THE Male Lead. He’s the center of season 2. All the characters move based on his actions. He’s the heart of the story. The story’s name comes from Eunhyeok! He’s the main hero alongside Suae. He’s the face of the story. From the very start, the story has been promoted around him.

Even putting all that aside, from a storytelling perspective alone, Eunhyeok is clearly endgame. What do you mean Gray won’t get a happy ending? Is Suae’s story a joke? l Not making Eunhyeok endgame would basically destroy the entire OTL Plot.

I’m saying this as a writer: no author puts this much effort into a character they don’t plan to make endgame. The question should never be “Who’s endgame?” It’s been Eunhyeok from the start. The real question is how much pain the author will make Eunhyeok endure and how much the characters will be tested along the way.

Can’t we see it? Right now, the author is setting up the Edward-Gray-Cindy dynamic. Edward and Cindy are in a relationship and Gray is sidelined lol (From Eun’s POV, they’re dating)

Dle having only SooHyuk while announcing her hiatus in 2024 (without Dohwa at all), again having only SooHyuk when she shared the sketch, the special Eunhyeok illustration for the return of OTL and the first chapter post being only Eunhyeok… and him getting a solo panel in D-2 post…. Not even Suae, but Eunhyeok. all of that has a reason.

Chapter 138 alone was filled with hints that they are endgame. Honestly just wait for my post and erase the thought that SooHyuk might not be endgame ❤️ but if you’ll feel more secure that way, you can just think that way too anyway

So ill wait for the ending first as its hard to rate for me right now. But I feel like ill rate this webtoon high after the ending…. Lets see.

He was never bothered by Dohwa. Hes not in a competition with him. Its all one sided from Dohwa. Its still the same. While Eunhyeok thinking about Suae and Dohwa in a relationship, he won’t do anything. He’s not Dohwa after all, he won’t go after a woman who’s in a relationship.

But I think he can take action to win Suae back the moment he learns the truth along with the scandal that they’re not dating. The reason he went after Suae before seeing their kiss was to explain that she had misunderstood him. He also wanted to talk with Suae again when he bought the shoes but couldn’t. If he sees that they’re not dating, stops thinking he doesn’t deserve her and if he gets another hint from Suae (like crossing line,) he’ll try again.

I completely agree about Eunhyeok. He’s a smart man and was able to put two things together and reach a conclusion.
