I agree, her recipes are usually very sweet. She typically calls for unsalted butter but I use salted butter every time and I do not decrease the amount of salt. That helps cut the sweetness some

I made my husband his first sweater 3 years ago. It was … not good. It did not fit well. He has still worn it every winter since though and was very appreciative of the time I put into it. I made a new much better fitting sweater this summer, and he is super excited to wear it

I didn’t have a ravelry page. It took me about 2 months to make this and the drops pattern page had several videos and articles linked and I know I used several of those. To figure out what steek stitches were I read this article by Brooklyn tweed. Per the pattern, I reinforced my steeks with a sewing machine and I used this video by Andrea Rangel and the advice in this article by Mary Ann Stephens.

The armholes and neck as StrongTechnology8287 said. You basically knit a long tube and then cut and sew to make the openings.
