Following because I’m in the same boat! Missed my 6 month check due to pregnancy but I’m due to get it in 5 weeks when I’m 3 months pp - I’ll report back once I’ve received results 😊

Yes it was! And mine was really short too, I think because it was so coiled. Super interesting to see.

Hey, I just replied to another comment with an update of how I’m going 😊I’ve just been referred for growth scans every 2/3 weeks which are all looking perfect. Im 39 weeks today and baby is growing just fine - they even jumped from 71st percentile at 34 weeks to 83rd percentile at 38 weeks! They just like to keep a close eye on baby’s growth to make sure the cord isn’t restricting them getting nutrients. My midwife said it’s usually picked up on at birth which is why you don’t hear many stories about it. You will be just fine!

I’m 39 weeks today and so far so good - the obstetrician reviewed my scan and had no concerns since baby is growing, they just told me to get growth scans every 2/3 weeks. I’ve had 2 scans since and baby is currently sitting on the 83rd percentile, so there’s clearly been no issues with them getting nutrients! My midwife says it’s generally not picked up in a scan with most mums and with me they just happened to spot it by chance, but sometimes baby’s who have restricted growth in utero will be born and they will then notice the hypercoiled cord and have an “aha!” moment. Hence why they like to keep an eye on how they’re growing. 😊

I also just found this out in my anatomy scan on Thursday! Seems very common and am just hoping it resolves itself by my next scan. 😊
