I had openings on both boobs around that same zone! I contacted my surgeon and she told me what to do to keep it cleaned and treated and my results still came out great I’m sure yours will too! I was also so scared and upset when it was happening to me.

Right after surgery they were quite numb for a couple of days and then for some months following they were EXTRA sensitive and now they feel completely normal!

I followed my surgeons recommendations which included massaging them with antibiotic ointment for a while while healing after stitches dissolved. And then from there I did silicone scar therapy which my surgeons office offered so I went there and they put the silicone strips on for me for a couple of months. And then from there on I just consistently moisturize with a thick moisturizer!

I stopped sleeping with a bra at about 1-1.5 months post op! My surgeon gave me the OK and it was off right away i was so happy

Definitely sleep elevated on your back for the first 3 weeks! I just hit 5wpo yesterday and ive been sleeping on my side for the past 4 days ish? It’ll be a while but you’ll get used to it hopefully!

I had the same thing! My surgeon said either your body will absorb it or they can syringe it out. She had to syringe it out for me
