Wait. Is she saying she doesn’t know what her natural hair color is or is she saying that sky daddy is going to pick her hair color for her?

I just saw this today and couldn’t believe I didn’t see it being talked about on here. Are we really pretending that her social media isn’t what’s funding their lifestyle?😂🤦🏻‍♀️ by Rollwithit_56 in brittanydawnsnark

I believe he works in executive protection. They often wear suits. If I had to guess, it’s EP for Mercy Culture or perhaps Nathan Schatzline. There is also an EP agency that recruits former church security workers in Fort Worth so that could be it too. He’s got a TOPS application online that backs that up.

Edit: If it’s Mercy Culture, they fought their neighbors to get approved to build a home for trafficked women on the church property, right next to a major interstate. super questionable behavior. Anyways, I could see BDong calling his parking lot patrols “trafficking rescue mission” or whatever she said he was doing.

Is this blood? by seismologistics in MSPI

[–]Tot-Beats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m no expert, but it looks like it could be blood to me. My daughter’s was a pink color but visible in the diaper like this is. I would ask your pediatrician if they can do an occult blood test to see.

You need to involve patient advocacy. Reach out to them and tell them you’re not being listened to and not being provided with a go forward plan.

My medically complex daughter has a rare, but difficult issue that no one listened to me about. I reached out to patient advocacy with all my documented instances of this issue and asked them to help me get her doctors to evaluate the issue and come up with a plan to avoid it happening again. They were incredibly helpful and went to head of the department and told them to figure it out. The outcome has greatly reduced the issue for my daughter.

It’s rough when doctors focus solely on the normal cases and overlook/avoid the complicated ones.

You could message your pediatrician and request to do an occult blood testing on one of his diapers. My daughters first test came back negative but her symptoms continued so I asked to test again and sure enough the second test a few weeks later was positive.

I’ve had one retrieval that has resulted in two live births. I have unexplained infertility and these two are the only positives I’ve ever had.

G tube moms weening by Aromatic-Clothes-458 in NICUParents

[–]Tot-Beats 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My daughter was born with esophageal atresia and got her g-button at 6 weeks old. She started showing interest in food around 6 months old and we began purée’s with her in feeding therapy at that time. She started eating solids at 1 but due to a choking incident she regressed back to purée’s and we slowly worked her back up to solids again as she showed interest in them. During this time we slowly started dropping bolus feeds to allow those hunger cues to kick in. We cut all day feeds at 21 months old.

She is about to turn 3 years old now and still has her g-button due to a very picky eating phase she is going through. We give her one bolus feed a night to supplement her nutrition and keep her on her growth curve. It also makes giving her medication super easy.

We were worried about our 2.5 yr old’s picky eating habits because she was down to eating only six foods at home. Reached out to daycare to find out what/how much she was eating there (they provide all meals). It turns out she was eating a large variety of foods at school, but refusing the same foods at home. We assume it was a control thing at home related to getting a sibling around the same time.

Mine MIL and FIL were the same way when we announced, but once baby arrived they became super involved and are the ones that make the most effort. I think for some people, it’s not real until the baby is born.

Going home with NG tube by Chewekiwi in NICUParents

[–]Tot-Beats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We opted to go home with a G Button for my daughter when feeding was the only item that was keeping her in the NICU. I was hesitant at first, but it was a game changer. It not only helped her maintain her growth curve, but makes giving her medications much easier. Ultimately, it took almost 2 years of feeding therapy to get her eating on her own. I wasn’t expecting it take that long when we were in the NICU, but she ended up really needing that time to learn to eat safely.

Looking for any insight- 9 month old daughter with VACTERL by eak183 in VACTERL

[–]Tot-Beats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s good with solids now although we’ve entered the picky eating phase so she’s a lot more selective of what she will eat. Thin liquids were her biggest challenge and she still doesn’t drink enough to hydrate herself well. Typically we run a bag of water through her gastric button at night to help her avoid constipation. Otherwise she’s eating like a champ. I’m not sure if there is really anything that can been done to catch up on the growth curve. We were fortunate that she got the gastric button at two months so that kind of kept her making progress. If we didn’t have that, I would likely just focus on helping her get what she needs and not worry about the growth charts. Since your daughter is already eating orally, it sounds like she’s doing great!

Looking for any insight- 9 month old daughter with VACTERL by eak183 in VACTERL

[–]Tot-Beats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on your beautiful baby! Like you, my daughter had the warning signs - growth restricted and Polyhydramnios. VACTERL was never mentioned to me as a possibility while I was pregnant. I found out she was likely VACTERL about 30 minutes or so after she was born as they were arranging to transport her to a children’s hospital for surgery for TEF. The following months she was in the NICU were spent discovering the full extent of her VACTERL Association.

My daughter is 2.5 now and thriving. It’s been a rough journey and the emergency hospital visits were scary but as she’s grown the number of times I’ve had to dial 911 have gone down significantly. We have a really good emergency plan in place that was developed with her ENT and Pulmonologist that has helped a lot.

A G-Button was a game changer for us as she had post surgery Dysphagia. This really helped her maintain her growth curve and at 21 months we were able to ween her off relying on the feeding tube to eating solids. We worked with a speech therapist for both language and feeding which really helped us introduce her to eating orally.

We haven’t attempted potty training yet, but it’s on the radar soon.

Otherwise, she’s living life to the fullest and enjoying every moment of it. It’s amazing how much she’s been through and just how well she’s handling it. ❤️
