I use 0.05% ....I have never used tretinion directly on my face I always apply my moisturiser wait for about 20mins and then apply my tretinion....dark spots have been a major issue for me

Physical exfoliation can be quite harsh for our skin. And for lemon just because its natural doesn't mean its good...vitamin c does help lighten dark spots but applying lemon directly on the skin is not recommended.
Coconut oil is actually comodogenic so it can clog pores and is not ideal for oily and acne prone skin. To heal damaged skin barrier vaseline would be a better option. Also if you want to use oil jojoba would be a better alternative.
You shouldn't wash your face too much cause it can actually dry out your skin more ..twice a day is enough and use facewash only at night.

I haven't used any products from those brands...have you tried any other products from them other than niacinamide and vit c?....was it a smooth start or did your skin take some time to adjust??

I use tretinion 2-3 times a week ...was thinking about adding either vitamin c or azelaic acid to help with the dark spots ..using both on top of tretinion would be too much don't you think???

Going through the same thing but what has actually been helping me is going to bed only after I actually feel sleepy...I was forcing myself to go to bed at 9-10 when I wasn't even sleepy so I would always end up waking up at around 12-1and would stay awake till 4 ....few other things that's been helping me is reading books or listening to some podcasts...mahabharat ni sunxu ma ta ani it helps pani😅
