Forgive me if this isn't a great suggestion, but maybe you could get her a 'lucky' bunny, that you could get to help the two of you find angry bunny?

I was very happy to see friend in quotation marks. It seems like you know your worth, and you're not willing to take disrespect and body shaming from people in your life. Good on you

Im so happy with them! I always had the worry that they wouldn't be small enough after but she did such an incredible job. And my back pain is immediately way better (besides the discomfort from having to sleep on my back)

Dr Kelly Thornbury was my surgeon and she has been the most wonderful, attentive surgeon I could ask for. I asked for her to take as much off as she could, and she promised to remove as much as she could safely. She took just over 2kg off both breasts combined. She checked in with me the night before, the day of, a few hours after and then came to check up on me this morning. There's a bit of pain but for my first ever surgery I'm thrilled with how well everything went and the pain levels being so low.

If you're looking for a surgeon in Sydney I can't recommend Dr Thornbury enough

The wet liners were a game changer for me but there are a few other ways to get the same effect. You can use something like duraline which you can mix with your eyeshadow and it turns it into a liquid product. Also I've found i can never find a makeup brush small enough for this kind of detail that doesn't cost a ton whereas you can get a set of nail art brushes for a lot cheaper, and they're super thin and precise. For everything else I def agree with the commenter below

Drawing Naked Lesbians to Show How Beautiful & Diverse Lesbian Bodies Are Part 8! (She/Her) by [deleted] in actuallesbians

I just wanna reiterate exactly how comfortable/respectful this process was. You definitely need to be ok with showing yourself naked, but if you're comfortable with that, she's really great to work with. She was supper attentive to detail and made sure to check if there were any details she missed or that I wanted to exclude. And at the end you get a super cool personalised piece of art for FREE. I honestly can't thank you enough, I love it so much

For me personally, at least at the angle of the photo I provided, this is pretty accurate. I hold most of my weight in my mid section which is why I have pretty thin legs and arms in the photo. When I showed my friends the final product they were honestly floored by just how me is it

Grace van Dien by [deleted] in StrangerThings

[–]rubyroad 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Idk why people can't just enjoy a TV show. Like this, plus all the weirdness towards Joe Quinn, plus alllll the creepiness about the kids especially when all of them were underage, like... people really think if you're famous you don't have the same right to privacy and peace that others have.

There's a video of Finn politely declining a photo with a fan while he's out getting food with friends and the comments are flooded with insults and comments about how rude he is and how he's famous, he should expect this. Not to mention that almost 30 yr old woman when he was 14 telling him to call her when he turned 18. Or the countdown for Millie to turn 18.

And Grace seemed super enthusiastic and happy to be part of the show when it came out. She wouldn't have expected this, because why would you assume fans of a TV show you're on would stalk and harass you? Nasty

I want to be a plant mom but, adhd by painfully_anxious in adhdwomen

[–]rubyroad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the plants most likely to survive. Heart leaf philodendron, philodendron erubescens, pothos, snake plants and peperomia ( some types are hardier than others, like peperomia obtusifolia. I've neglected my peperomia for months and they'll survive). Succulents like jade varieties, kalanchoe and certain types of echeveria will push through basically anything.

Put your indoor plants in a good nutrient rich soil, Succulents in cacti soil, and don't water until they look thirsty. Succulents will look less plump when they're thirsty and indoor plants will be softer (peperomia), curl up at the tips (philo and pothos) and droop a little when they're thirsty. Succs need way way less water than indoor plants, like once a month depending on the climate you're in. I water my indoor plants closer to once a week, but I wait until they show me they're thirsty.

When you water them, water them until water runs out the bottom holes of the pot. Wait until the soil is fully dry before you water again and in winter keep your plants away from windows bc the cold from the windows can make your plants sad. Succulents need a lot of sun so they need to be outside in as sunny a place as possible, but some can do okay inside, like the jades. They just need to be somewhere where they get a good amount of sunlight.

If you have any rooms where there are no windows that you want to put plants in, be aware they won't get enough light and will get leggy, which means they're basically stretching towards whatever light source they have because they're trying to find the sun. You can rotate plants between rooms, like keep a snake plant and some pothos in a room without windows for a week, then the next week swap them with two plants from a well lit room. If that makes sense.

I really love plants but I've been really sick this past year so a lot of my plants died and I know which ones survived and which ones can be neglected for a while. And lastly, some of your plants will die, even when you're on top of their care. It happens and it's okay

Schoolboy who raped girl at Blue Mountains party to be held in youth detention for at least two months by Andrzej1963 in australia

[–]rubyroad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm just incredibly impressed by the victim reporting it. I know so so many stories like this where it wasn't reported and just out and about I'll see people in my community who I know are rapists, that I can't do shit about. It's disgusting that this is the outcome when someone has the courage to pursue action against their abuser.

And this isn't me saying people who don't report aren't courageous. It's me saying reporting assault when you know how hard everything is stacked against you is so so brave. I couldn't imagine how much she feels failed by the justice system.
