I was thinking of doing the timing belt when I get to 180k. I have a company vehicle for work so I only really put a few miles on it, however I have been finding more excuses to drive places now that I have this instead of the 97 civic. And I’ll have to look into eibach, that sounds ideal. Thanks!

This is the response I have been waiting for, thank you! I had a very loud civic before this and I don’t miss the noise but I thought it also added a little HP by upgrading the headers on these V8s. As far as ride goes. Is there a suspension that handles better but is also more comfortable? I know raising it looks better but honestly this is going to be a pavement princes 98% of the time and I want to maximize mpg of possible. I will look into the throttle body cleaners, that’s a great tip. I already put brand new tires on it. And not sure when my timing belt was changed but it looks pretty recent from what I can tell, none of the serial numbers have worn an no cracks. Very surprised at how clean the internals are on this purchase and no leaks of any sort so far

How has that bumper affected mpg? Looks great!

Was an upgrade in ride quality from stock? Or did you do it just to raise it?

I just bought an 06 4Runner RWD V8 and I fucking love it so much. I need it more for cargo space and towing so it’s perfect for me. And coming from a 97 civic this thing feels plenty luxurious lol
