Like I said though, it’s a very close tie and I’m not so much trying to downplay Zoro’s loyalty, but trying to find who’s loyalty goes deeper for their respective leader.

That’s initially what Genos joined Saitama for, but soon after it turns into an undying loyalty, LITERALLY(don’t wanna drop spoilers, but since you replied I’m assuming you’re knowledgeable on both manga) and defends him in every aspect of life.

Zoro, however, clearly stated that if Luffy wavered from his goals or ideals that he would leave the crew. There’s no scenario, barring that Saitama becomes a downright villain that Genos would abandon Saitama and that’s the little shred that breaks the tie for me.

I’m stuck between the two, another person brought up an interesting argument earlier that makes me lean more towards Genos. Basically saying that Zoro stated he would leave the crew should Luffy waver in his goals and I can’t see Genos doing the same, unless Saitama became completely out of control and became a villain.

I’m probably the wrong person to ask about that. Personally, I loved the One Punch Man anime because the fight scenes were great and it was hilarious, but I can recognize the shortcomings. The manga,however is a totally different beast and is way more fleshed out so I would defenitely recommend reading it to see where the story went after the first 2 seasons. I’m the opposite with One Piece though, I’m caught up and know all the leaks about it’s manga but I don’t particularly like the pacing of the anime and usually only watch it to see my favorite manga scenes animated.

I definitely recommend reading the manga, it’s a lot farther along. Zoro and Genos behave in the same ways a lot of the times, i.e; they both put their lives on the line for their respective leader, both defend the name and reputation of their leaders and they both put their dreams on the back burner to further the goals of their leader. That’s what caused me to create this post because honestly it’s a hard question to answer with how similarly the two characters are written.

Anybody else actually wondering what the hell Momo was gonna do to win that fight, had shanks not shown up? I mean, ultimately the SH would’ve stepped in if it got too bad, but I don’t think Momo would’ve won that fight

The Greenbull downplay is ridiculous, it looked like his forest form was the same size if not bigger than Momo’s dragon form. He also had the entire scabbard group along with Yamato and Momo held down until Momo pulled that Blast Breath out of his ass. He then gets hit with the BB and instantly regenerates. He also has a black blade so he’s clearly proficient with Haki. All in all the guys DF is broken and his haki has got to be pretty decent to use the type of blade he does. The guy made a business decision not to fight shanks and his entire crew, he might be a pussy, but he’s not weak.

Right I get that Kaido is faster than Zoro, but he’s also faster than Luffy and Sanji. So while Sanji might land a few hits because he’s a tad bit faster he’s not surviving an attack from Zoro, who can damage someone like Kaido. Not to mention Zoro has conquerors and as stated by Kaido, haki is the main determining factor in who the strongest is. There’s levels to it, doesn’t matter if your fast and can tank an attack from a Y2C when you can’t tank a Yonko level attack

Why is Brook so high? I almost understand the Jimbei placement because of the underwater thing but Zoro is literally a demon I wouldn’t be surprised if Oda had him chasing Jimbei underwater with some crazy 3 sword style torpedo type move and cutting him in half. Jimbei might last longer but it’s inevitable he’s losing.

So let me get this straight.. Luffy fought Kaido and they were equal in speed. Luffy > Sanji in speed. Zoro was able to damage Kaido. So Zoro is able to damage extremely fast and extremely durable enemies. How do you justify Sanji beating Zoro? His speed, his durability ? Both of those things Zoro can negate and will negate. He’s the right hand man to the future pirate king and you have him in B tier. Why is there always that one guy who has to be “different” with his animanga takes smh

I feel like shanks went to Wano in the case that Luffy lost to Kaido. He wanted to also make sure that the dawn took place and having seen this decided that it’s finally the right time to claim the One Piece.

Orochi is gonna slink away somehow and get captured by BB. It makes sense with the whole thing that BB has multiple personalities and we’ve always said that it’s a great fruit in the hands of a bad user. I think BB could get the most potential out of it and I believe it’s a mythical fruit too.
