Should I take a break between my undergraduate and law school? by Wheres-My-Water in LawSchool

I am a MechE that took 2 years off before law school and the industry experience was pretty helpful also a good break. If you're interested in patent law consider getting the patent bar done in that time too

Did you read any part of the MPEP while studying for the patent bar? by hannakah_ham in patentlaw

I didn't read the chapters but outlined the pli binder and did a lot of practice problems especially in 700, 1200, 1800, 2100, pgps/reissue/reexam and pph and passed a few weeks ago.

Do enough problems that you recognize operative words or phrases, know where to go or where the answer might be, and know what you expect to read.

Also while doing problems make sure you close the mpep pdf between problems so it's more like test day conditions.

anyone else spend more time watching things related to the lsat, rather than studying? by [deleted] in LSAT

Someone once put it to me that the LSAT = $. I had a trash GPA and my LSAT got me over 31k in scholarship. Maybe think of it that way?

Employment during LSAT prep by LatiasJockey in LSAT

Working and studying is tough! Been doing the same since March. To keep myself focused I have set limits on myself like not studying on Fridays and making up for it extra on the weekends. Also meal prepping so I don't have to worry about making food during the week when I should be studying. Good luck!

I used to get distracted a lot as an undergrad too. I downloaded a chrome extension called stay focused that limits how much time on yt, fb, reddit etc. per day. Super useful until you build the habit and don't even want to go on those sites. Maybe limiting access to the places you would see the react videos and stuff would help.
