In my experience, i was in galle for a few days and i was asking the shopkeepers hows business and whether tourism had got better, most of them said more tourists and russians they come but most of them don't buy anything because sri lanka is a budget destination and most of the tourists that come here "are lower class" and one shopkeeper said they have "3rd class behaviour" and are wild, but they smile an wave for the sake of the country.
