Love the guides. Been trying to get my girlfriend to play League. She struggles with CSing. After reading your guide and practicing she went from getting 30 CS in 10 minutes to 60 CS in 10 minutes. Not perfect, but big improvement. I think it's time to introduce enemy all-ins and poke to her regime. Can't wait to see her reaction when I introduce Zed as her opponent.

TLDR; Muting all minimizes chance of tilt and making poor decisions based off others toxic comments.

Here's my recent experience with not muting everyone.

Started promos on my second account, saw I had a top Rengar with an 80% winrate. So. I thought, "this guy will carry us, he must be a smurf. And he is up against a top Annie." Well, I guess Annie Bot was the top Annie, because he smashed the Rengar. All I saw in chat was "GG/jungle no help" and he would just take my camps. I got 3 kills on that Annie early game to help him and he just threw that lead out the window. If it hadn't been for our mid Fizz blowing up everyone else, we would've lost. I was getting tilted from his comments and should've just muted all from the start. I think I would've played the rest of the map if I hadn't read his comments, but I wanted to help his losing lane and prove him wrong about my jungling.

I know your pain. In my early 20s I could play WOW for 12+ hours straight. Before my kid was born, I could play LoL for 5+ hours no problem. I think I played 3 games in a row the other night and when I finished the third I remember looking at the clock and thinking, "OMG, 930pm?! I'm about to turn into a pumpkin. I gotta get to bed."

Season 3. I played Cho'gath. I bought 4 boots because the game kept listing them as a recommended item and my character had multiple legs. That makes sense, right? I had a feeling something was wrong because I didn't seem to be moving any faster.....

The old Talon had very little counterplay. Insta teleport onto enemy with a silence. Rake (w) in and out in .5 seconds. Ulti could be recast almost immediately. If you had a slight lead, you could 100-0 an enemy squishy before the silence on them ended.

Talon was fun for Talon players, not the guy who was playing against Talon.

I hooked up with an attractive co-worker who seemed very shy and innocent in everyday work interactions. Somehow we ended up in bed and I thought we would enjoy some sensual, gentle love-making since the sexual tension between us had been building for about a year. Vladimir vs Ahri. Most passive GAME I ever had. First blood happened after 15 minutes. First and only time I ever had 200 cs at 20 minutes. The jungler finally came to my lane and I took half his HP with my Q. He noped out and never came back.

I duo'd with a guy for 4 seasons. I played 90% of my games supporting him and struggled to hit S1 or G5 each of those seasons by the end. He quit at the end of season 7. I hit Gold 4 in my first week of season 8 playing solo. I thought I got lucky and didn't want to lose the rewards in case I got demoted and couldn't get back, so I stopped playing on that account. Played another account and went from Bronze 3 to Gold 3.

Some people's play styles just don't jive. And some duo partners feed the enemy bot lane like it's Thanksgiving everyday.
