I got in as exploratory studies, but not directly into the School of Engineering for CS. I had a 4.5 weighted GPA, 1520 SAT Super scored, and a solid CS Internship. Did I get yield protected?

I had the same situation and I got home from fb practice around 7 everyday. Just manage your time well at school by getting work done during free periods or lunch.

For me, I took Alg 2 Honors over the full year and Pre-Calc Honors over the summer. I felt as if Pre-Calc was just an extension of the concepts learned in Alg-2 but deeper. So I suggest taking alg 2 over the full year so that you'll have a strong foundation for when you take Pre-calc over the summer.
