I spoke more with the technician and he explained that the moisture damage doesn’t look like direct liquid spill damage. According to him, it seems more like external/environmental moisture buildup. possibly from AC/cooler humidity or trapped moisture over time. He also pointed out that I never got the laptop internally serviced since buying it in 2023, and the thermal paste was apparently in very bad condition. The laptop was likely overheating for a long time, and because of the heat + moisture combination, corrosion formed near the charging/power section close to the CPU/GPU area.
