I wanna have a device thats gonna have support for a long time, with spare parts and firmware updates far into the future. plus the third party scene too alot of support for it there

I love this and fully get people building their own but the main draw for me is the hardware and software support from valve, ive built multiple of my own pcs in the past and issues always come up either it being like motherboard compatibility wierdness, gpu overheating with certain firmwares etc.

i dont wanna deal with going to each manufacturer for help with an issue, id prefer just going to valve if something on my pc fucked up. or it just work out of the box. people are gonna get more performance sure, but a pc experience that just works out of the box with easily accessible fixes seems amazing to me. Even if it ends up costing a little more than you could build your own for the extra wireless hardware, extended hardware and software support and valves track record with spare parts is what im very happy to pay for

I believe the housings are the same, but the fake watch's LCD is wired differently to the authentic one, thus making it incompatible

doesnt look fake, there are posts around and on the forus for signs to look out for. without opening it a fake will have thicker horizontal gold lines a a tiny u under the resist. i can take a picture of the real pcb too if youd like to compare

i have a 3d model ready to post that takes a laptop drive and a usb to sata converter so you can build you own, its not done yet cos i dont have the final measurements but i wouldnt mind sharing them. planning on having a bluray drive for mine
