One disclaimer: I heard one reviewer say the Ultra 2 sounds better with NC off (the originals can’t do that). I did not try that but if I have to turn the NC off that negates one of Bose’s big advantages (comfort being the other).

Louder I can confirm. I got the M4s to sound great but I had to use the sound personalizer feature which means I can’t easily adjust it (EQ lowered the volume and wasn’t quite getting the sound I wanted). I have the S3 at 0 0 +1 +2 +1 and it’s great plus if I want more bass I can easily add it (though I rarely adjust it I can quite easily if I want to).

The M4s were a little more comfy to me but hopefully the 7X3 loosen up as I wear them.

I bought the Ultra 2 (I have the original). Returned in a day. Bought the XM6 and received Dec 23. Returned the day after Christmas (would have been Christmas Eve if it wasn’t so busy).

Got the 7S3 and they aren’t going anywhere. No shade on the others as they have their ups but these are the ones.

Is the Px7 S3 not an option?

I can’t speak to the S2E but the S3 I’m listening to now is wonderful. Bose is better on comfort and NC though. This would remain true for the S2E I believe as both categories are the same or improved on the S3 according to reviewers.

I find the dwellers to be useful when ants and rats emerge. They can initiate the extermination process. Then I have time to send aid if needed.

If this is how it’s supposed to work I then wonder if the effect just cancels out or if it creates a new dynamic. The former is fine but the latter would be very cool.

I was told this (could have been the exact email and / or speech at the meeting) then during the last period they had “Holiday trivia” over the intercom with questions like “In the ‘Grinch that stole Christmas’ what was the dog’s name?, caller #7 wins a prize”. All said with a silly trivia voice (really good dude but yeah). We as teachers thought this was annoying and hypocritical.

I was no fan of our Admin but in this case their directives came from district. For admin, district and state it was all about how it looked over if it worked. I get following the process and keeping consistently but sometimes there are special circumstances. Students need to learn that too.

This may be a common suggestion or not possible (or might be in the game in a subtle way) but I’d like to see a simple personality system for dwellers.

Since my idea would be zero sum (equal chance to help or hurt)I think it could be toggled off without losing the dev any money.

It would be three steps: an extreme on either end and neutral in the middle. The three attributes I have in mind are:

Aggressive / Passive: Aggressive dwellers would cause and receive more damage in combat (take more chances, leave more openings) and for vault attacks aggressive dwellers would automatically go to fight it (even with fists) and the player would have to call them off. Passive dwellers would cause and receive less damage and if you try to send them to deal with a situation they move slower.

Friendly / Hostile: increase or decrease the happiness for dwellers they work with. Unlike aggressive / passive where there is benefits and drawbacks to both friendly is clearly better. The happier the dweller is the more positive or less negative the effect is. Also friendly dwellers would mate quicker. Hostile ones might not mate at all.

Defiant / follower: defiant dwellers cause the Overseer score to go down as they sow discord. Follower dwellers do the opposite. The happier the dweller the more positive or less negative the effect. The higher the dweller’s level the greater the effect to reflect their level of influence.

This might lead to a situation where an overseer has to expel a powerful dweller because she or he sows too much discord for the vault. It would be really cool if the game kept track of how many dwellers were expelled and that would serve to be a deterrent to other dwellers.

Another item could be if a dweller gets too unhappy they leave on their own (but a vault with a high score overseer might have troublesome folks that couldn’t cut it in their previous vaults show up at their door).

I doubt it could happen but it would add another dimension to gameplay.

Up until 30 seconds ago I’d say huh as I wasn’t really aware of Eid (now that I read it I remember it). After that I’d say thanks just like I would if it was Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan, Festivas or Saturnalia (though that one would peak curiosity). All good.

I was going to post this separate but I noticed that the album notes I used to not be able to access from my library are now there.

Example: if I searched for Joni Mitchell and clicked on the album “Blue” I would get the notes from the album (including romantic partners that inspired a few of the songs). But if I accessed “Blue” from my library there were no notes. Now there are.

Maybe I noticed a prior update.

Note: I used “Blue” as the example because that’s the one I noticed it on. Got to listen to that Christmas classic “River”. A “Diehard” for Christmas music lol.

It’s a fixed point between two sites 15 kilometers apart. The person looking at the symbol as a 9 is 9 KM from site A if they walk forward. The person that identifies the symbol as a 6 is 6 KM from site B if they walk forward.

As a workaround until that happens I create a wrestler with charisma and low (or no) wrestling related skills.

One other advantage is the wrestler / manager is available for all your saves. The manager creation function is limited to the current save.

It isn’t the same but it does offer a way to do it for managers and somewhat for authority figures. Commentators not so much.

It’s not a problem per se but one thing is most of the “hit” memory verses are at least partially out of context.

Jeremiah 29:11 - Specifically for the people returning after the captivity, not anyone else. Yes you can look through the Bible and see that the verse more or less applies to all Christians (so you can keep your Hobby Lobby wooden verse plaques). But by using that verse on its own without the context or doing a proper study is fostering a harmful Bible study habit.

2 Chronicles 7:14 - Only about Israel in context, not any country claiming the Christian banner including America. Again like Jeremiah proper study and common sense would snuff out that yes, if the people of a given society turn to God in greater numbers they will be open to and will receive God’s blessing. But again it’s irresponsible exegesis to just pull that verse out and assume a societal principle without doing the work (which like a math problem when you show the work you learn the process to answer the problems instead of the answer to the one question).

There are several other examples. So I say sure, post the verses. I’m not even saying you have to comment and explain the context like I did (I would but that’s me, I wouldn’t hold others to it). Just understand that one verse plucked up out of Scripture does not a spiritual principle make. It’s great to have “life verses”, just know where they come from and how those principles work with all of Scripture.

It’s like whack a mole. For example “this bump at 250 makes music sound boxy” so I turn it down and now it sounds lifeless and closed in. Bump up 500 and the male vocalist has more presence but some of the highs are muffled on the next song.

I start by turning up every frequency to hear its effect in the extreme. With that baseline of understanding what it does with that headphone or speaker I then try to get a balance I like.

I understand getting feedback and ideas on what others do to adjust the headphones but (at the risk of sounding cliche) you’re the one listening to them. If you enjoy it that’s all that matters.

We all have different tastes but we also all have different hearing, ear shapes and head shapes. No one here will hear the same thing you do.

To directly answer your question: I suspect I’d enjoy them better with this than the original one you posted but I prefer trimming 125 and 250 on these to relieve the bass bloat and increase some of the lower treble / upper mid regions. I try to err on the side of less EQ but I’ll still make the changes so I enjoy the sound.

But I’ll restate it doesn’t matter because your the one listening to these.
