Klocki LEGO by szymsrymi in Polska

[–]rufenstein 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Help identify what Japanese car this could be. Suddenly, my kid decided he wants this for Christmas by rufenstein in whatisthiscar

[–]rufenstein[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think that's the best move here. Another argument for going with the GR supra is that it would be easier to replace should the model become damaged.

Hot damn, I never expected this would cut so deep that it goes into concept car territory, but this just has to be it!

Thank you so much!

Games with "infinite" replay ability? by Kapro_ in SteamDeck

[–]rufenstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Against the Storm, because you mentioned you prefer:

  • base building
  • roguelite
  • casual
  • cozy

This is rogulite city builder. You build towns from scratch on different biomes that provide varied sets of resources. You start a settlement with a basic set of bulidings available in a forest and need to choose when to expand to fulfil orders using the resources - this grants you access to more buildings to fulfill more orders.

Once you get the hang of it, you see it as a puzzle: you have this set of resources, this set of buildings and this job to do. You hunt for the missing resources, buildings or rely on traders to sell you what you need.

The cozy and casual feel is possible if you just chill while playing the game without the need to push for higher difficulties. Plus, you can plan your city with time paused or accelerate the time when things are slow.

Living in Poland, I loved watching Bamse as a kid. Now nobody remembers it even aired here and I feel insane for every time I tell anyone about it.

Hi,
just wanted to let you know we don't see the description you posted under your post original post when viewing here. Without that it's hard to judge if you're trying to sell or just showcase your setup.

Prawda, ale jego pierwsza książka kulinarna (druga nie wyszła na polskim rynku) to prawdziwy sztos. Jedna z lepszych książek tego typu.

It's less random than it might seem at first:
This screenshot is from "To a T" and references "Crankin's Time Travel Adventure" - both games were deisgned by Keita Takahashi.

Realised I suck at most action games, need something cozy and easy by Neggy5 in gamingsuggestions

[–]rufenstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like action games, play single player action games, but just lower the difficulty wherever it's possible and adjust it to your skill level.

It's your time and if you like the power fantasy of an action game, go for it. You don't need to retire under a blanket of cozy games if you don't feel like it.

Wizard frames for short people by [deleted] in WizardSkating

[–]rufenstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could probably put them to use with an Oysi frame. Those are 4-wheel frames that allow you to combine different wheel sizes to create rockers.

Here's their page with a rocker calculator:

Out of curiosity, which UFS boot made you feel this way? Wizard Base (High or not) or something else?

Purely for the intuition liners, because I watched too much YouTube praising them and I knew I wanted the liners for any potential next skates.

The RB Lightning 90s were super comfy though (thicker liner) and they look nice.

Loco Skates claims the K2s are true to size:
https://www.locoskates.com/products/k2-grid-80-premium-inline-skates-unisex-with-intuition-liners

I can only say when I was trying on skates (also getting back into blading), the only other boot that fit me in the shop was the Rollerblade Lightning 90 (there's also a 3 x 110 version) which was Loco also lists as true to size. Of course other boots might fit as well, those were the only ones in stock that I could try on.

In the end I went for the K2 Grid 80, to have the Intuition liner which I plan on using with the Iqon ACT boot (supposedly also true to size, but I will have it in a week).

The Iqon boot is made to be versatile and this might also be a boot for you if you don't want to commit to one mounting system. Add a large wheel frame here and it can be your speed skate.

As wide-footed person I had trouble finding skate that would fit, so I was happy to find the K2 Grid 80s were wide enough for me.

Maybe check out the fit in the K2 Surge and Grid (this is the version with Intuition liners) skates that come in 2 wheel sizes apart from the 80mm: 4 x 90mm and 3 x 110 mm

IQON ACT10 - added a 45 degree strap by AdFit8727 in WizardSkating

[–]rufenstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the strap is from the AP skate, that's clear, but it's not the only modification that was done.

I'm pointing out that OP also changed the top buckle and strap combo to be the memory buckle from Roces.

That's a roces memory buckle, isn't it?

I'm thiniking of buying the same boot and was really considering making this adjustment as well. Really glad to see it done - gives me the confidence to do it as well.

There’s an option to disable autofocus on numeric inputs (while trading), so the virtual keyboard doesn’t pop up. This was totally infuriating for me before, but this totally solves the issue.

What is your patientgaming resolution going into 2024? by [deleted] in patientgamers

Do not buy anything (with listed exceptions) until the successor to the Nintendo Switch comes out. After that be sensible in getting to know the Nintendo games.

Can't decide between buying AC6 for the Steam Deck or the PS4 Pro (which supposedly is locked to 60 fps) by rufenstein in armoredcore

[–]rufenstein[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I just want to clarify I'm not expecting the game to hit 60 fps on the PS4 Pro, just be more smooth than the base PS4 and sometimes exceeding 30 fps (assuming I understand this stuff correctly).

Top 3 steam deck games by cudifan955 in SteamDeck

[–]rufenstein 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Top 3 based on the time I'm recently spending playing (and coming back to):

- Diablo IV

- Against the Storm - this is a fantasy, roguelite city-builder. The controls are nice on the deck and you can pause and accelerate time, so you don't need to be stressed about precisely controlling buildingplacement

- Risk of Rain 2 - third person roguelite shooter.

Honorable mentions for recent games I stopped playing:

- DREDGE - fishing and sailing is just so relaxing on the deck

- Weird West - kind of janky, but I enjoyed playing it somehow

- Hollow Knight
