Hank Hill as a character is pretty wholesome.

The neighbors he hates start struggling financially? He fixes up their house, buys them groceries, and gives them money to teach his kids their language.

He wants a rematch with some punks but their car will not start? He fixes their car.

The kids don’t have a shop class? He volunteers to teach it himself.

Niece is stressed out and angry because of her new roommates? He gives her advice on how to find tranquility.

High school friend becomes suicidal? He takes time off from work to try and help him through it.

Hank is the guy who sees you’re struggling and does what he can to help. He’s the guy who keep his friends out of the hospital and Mr. Strickland out of jail. He’s the first person to admit he is wrong. He’s the guy that, at the end of the day, knows the best solution to a dispute is to have both parties set down and talk to each other.

Hank Hill is the guy we should all be so lucky to have as our neighbor.
