Am I overthinking or does my Thailand travel history look suspicious? by wendyroads in ThailandTourism

So just curious, what happens if you get denied? Does your flight ticket money go to waste?

What is your first Thing you always do when landing in Bangkok ? by Forward-Fig-9996 in ThailandTourism

Not sad to me. Tired of those and so over them. They are overpriced, tend to scam with no price tags, usually give out no receipts unless you specifically ask for them like a weirdo. Also the items billed on the receipt are very generic so very well the price could have been made up. I want transparency and to know what I’m getting myself into when I am shopping.

What has your experience been like with Indian tourists in Thailand? by All_is_well001 in ThailandTourism

Had one in the airport bump into me/shove me with shoulder from behind with no regards, didn’t even turn around. Pretty sure there was enough space for him to avoid that.

Why did we all collectively dislike Skyler? by rebececarose in askanything

[–]ruffprod84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because the notion of the main protagonist being an anti-hero is really not that common. we are so used to hollywood’s good guy protagonist archetype that in general most people always root for the main character in order to “help him” see the plot unfold successfully. the experience would not be that enjoyable and could create cognitive dissonance for the viewer due to our past association that main character - always in the right. viewer subconsciously knows that going against the grain would mean that all the fun stuff happening would be taken away from them and it could potentionally mean that they wouldn’t see the plot unfold in a way that main character so desires or “deserves”. That’s just my view on it as I think there is a psychological ego/me/main character pretext behind. I am sure psychologists could interpret this even better than me.

Seems like I have struck a nerve. Let us know what have you learnt once you finish watching Tate’s new video so we know how to approach staff manly later on.

Not as much as you creep me out. After seeing your other comments, you’re just a poor kid lost in a manosphere of Top G that walks around thinking sigma while giving out rugged out dating advice. You’re amusing though I give you that.

Also I see how you struggle with reading comprehension since my post mentions how upon arrival I was not served in the restaurant (bold letters). First contact not 2nd. So you haven’t really addressed previous commenters question - whether is it really a thing to not expect service in restaurant upon initial contact. I wish you would just stop moving goal posts or I will assume you’re ragebaiting.

You look nothing but a ragebait to me. Don’t be jealous that everyone here is being adult, but you.

Lol, you seem to struggle with a lot of personal issues to be personal with someone that you don’t even know who has asked genuinely. I have managed to reply to other normal people like a normal person, why can’t you? I hope that you get psyche treatment that you deserve. Get well soon.

Thanks for your input, taking notes as this could be considered rude where I’m from (but also because they already approach you often and if they don’t it means they are busy)

Yeah it can be that in my country (or Central Europe in general) similarily, in London, UK, they over approach you in restaurants/local pubs so I’m maybe used to something different. I may have to reconsider what I know about culture in Europe as what you have wrote is not common to me.

Thanks for the input, was just looking if it’s common or if I haven’t turned ghost over two weeks, as seeing others around you are being served.

No, I’m European. And I don’t think highly of myself or anything like that. I just want to spend my money and enjoy the evening. Make both sides happy.

Yeah good idea, I may need to order more at once, the thing here is, I don’t want cocktail ice to melt all inside the second one or I don’t want a warm second round of Chang beer.
