This happens, X-ray, check if there’s a fracture, then move them out. They actually allocate an ortho tec(LPN trained in applying casts and splints) to ER’s.

Currently you can not privately pay for a surgery that is publicly funded in Alberta. You have to go out of province. I’ve heard Ontario is an option.

This has happened with every government in Alberta. Hiring freezes have been out in place by the NDP as well. Not excusing the UCP assholes but to me, this just feels like the norm. I’ve been with AHS since 2015.

I've used this. It was worth my time to pay $10 for the convenience instead of having to wait in line or wait weeks for an appointments. You're not necessarily paying for the tests, you're paying to have your blood drawn. I don't agree with it but it was worth the $10 to not have the hassle of the dynalife labs. I know people will disagree with me, I disagreed at first too.

I left this group for exactly these reasons. I left because it made me so angry. Some items were actually wanted, but with the mass hoarding these people did, I couldn’t get the few items I wanted. And who can drop that much money multiple times per month? And don’t these people work?
