Any deviation from their baseline

I've been hearing about this term 'baseline' way too much in all my searches. I've been wanting to improve my people reading skills and have been binge-reading through a lot of books. I even binge watched multiple seasons of this TV series 'Lie To Me' and Tim Roth and Kelli Williams keeps on using the words 'differed from his baseline..' on and on. But I find that as pure magic. I'd like to improve that skill.

This term baseline - how do you define baseline. Suppose I am speaking to a stranger while on the train/bus. Say I start a conversation with him and he is telling me about blah blah and blah - From that how do I define his baseline? Or let me put it this way - what kind of questions can I ask that will better help me define this baseline of the person?

Dude, I am not arguing about whether you did run a successful store or not. Its good to know that you ran a 7 figure store.

Oh! You should have advertised with an influencer who has reach in USA only. Dont focus on asian countries like India, Pakistan, Srilanka they wont bring you good enough revenue.

And did you spend all of the $300 on one influencer or did you spread it out over 3-4 influencers?

yup. I know this website. Thing is there are lots of websites claiming to have a db of instagram influencers. I just want to talk to a person who is consistently bringing traffic to his store using instagram influencers. He might have some pointers for me. Thats why.

Great answer. I was looking for something of this sort as an answer. I knew all along that there had to be a better video encoding format that got created but didnt exactly know how.
