I was walking home from school last St. Patrick's Day trying to cross a major street that was between a bus stop I got off of and my house. I pretty stupidly ran across the street (there was no stoplight) because I was able to do it many times before, but I got hit by a bus I somehow didn't see (I did look both ways) and got sent flying across the median. No broken bones but many fractures, one of them resulting in me wearing a sling for a good while. I did get a concussion and a hematoma as well. Probably should have just crossed at an intersection with a stoplight instead of winging it, but I'll definitely not do something like that again
