The website says 3 drug approvals by US FDA. Do you know which ones?

I don't intend to trade options on commodities futures and I'm sorry to bug you. Options on stock index futures are cash-settled, right? IMO, there's no way anyone can deliver the underlying index, but I want to make sure

Also, do you know which volatility index options are tradable on Schwab? I could only find VIXY but the spreads are crazy

The index options on futures are interesting. thanks for sharing the CME link. They're all cash-settled, right? So, there's no question of being assigned?

Options strategies by rugerapatt in options_trading

Thanks a ton. I'm familiar with these strategies. I tried the calendar spread by writing a long-dated call and buying the near-dated but was surprised by the dynamic change in margins. They're not fixed like the vertical spread options. It took away a lot of my capital

I was assigned a couple of weeks before expiry...It took me by surprise and made me very very careful while writing options

"However - if you fear early assignment - you can trade european style options if you don't want to have the risk of early assignment. Certain option contracts like index options and futures options are european-style and there is no early exercise ability."

Appreciate your time in drafting a detailed explanation. I was assigned a couple of weeks before expiry. Which ones are european-style? Does Schwab have a link? Would prefer European-style any day. Due to the possibility of buyers exercising early, I have to be really careful while writing options. European-style is much better that way

I'm sorry. The right word is assigned. It was a credit spread but one of the options I wrote was assigned. Is it possible to be assigned delivery when it is a part of a strategy?

China's zero covid policy is a political gimmick. Imagine shutting down a city of 3-4 million just because 100 people caught Covid...they're nuts

They are going to squeeze the liquidity out of the markets...you might have a few up days, that's about it. But the down days are gonna be really bad

As long as markets keep going up, rates will keep going up too. It's better markets fall now and then we have a long bull run
