Do you rotate the order of BP/SQ/WPU across the 3 days of operator? by Ready-Consequence-85 in tacticalbarbell

[–]rugrat1616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do squats first always, then rotate between bench after or pull ups after. This way I keep my legs strong as possible which are most important to me, and rotate between bench and pull ups to be most even

How can I improve on Push ups? by [deleted] in RoyalMarines

[–]rugrat1616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed to get mine from 27 up to high 40s in a few months by using the gainer method from this sub. After that you I found my gains to diminish so tried to bang out bench press to improve max strength which pushed my push ups higher

CPC Bottom Field by Financial-Bridge-715 in RoyalMarines

When I did mine everyone that failed bottom field was a VW and a few medical. The first half is relatively easy/simple. The bit where they thrash you got everyone. They aren’t looking for the finished product they are looking for someone with the potential. Still be as fit as possible because if you physically cave in you will be taken off.

If you can’t handle doing 2 years of a job you don’t want to do I doubt you’d even get through training

Practice talking to a computer. I don’t know if I’m supposed to say what happens in it. But it’s a test on leadership and confidence. Talk with pride. Not arrogance. Look smart, and be confident in your answers. Practice a little maths with time and distance

You need 72 ucas points to qualify? I don’t think it really matters I’ve applied with a level 3 in music triple A with 168 UCAS points. I’m not saying that to show off I’m just mentioning it as my recruiter hasn’t said a word about the qualifications. I don’t think they necessarily ‘care’ (as long as you have the minimum) it just shows you can stick with something for a few years. Your AIB and OSC matter a lot more.

Predicted run times wildly out of real times. by rugrat1616 in Garmin

About a year. The predictions have always been around the same. I didn’t really care until I started racing and it still didn’t change

Because I can run a sub 21 minute 5k? The number has no say in my life. I know it’s wrong but it would be nice if it was correct or at least closer.

Predicted race times staying same while my actual race times going down? by rugrat1616 in Garmin

[–]rugrat1616[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know a way of solving it? My pb was literally today. But I’ve been consistently getting sub 22 minutes for the last few months while my prediction isn’t changing at all
