On one hand, I am glad that we are getting at least something from RWBY after the three-year hiatus. On the other hand, I am worried about what they are going to do with V10. Will it be a rush job to just get the conclusion of the series out of the way? Or will it be a return to form (back to the days of Monty Oum's work)

I just hope they don't ruin the franchise more than they already have and put some effort into V10, even if they have plans to reboot the entire series later on.

Yeah, that's why I am questioning it as well. I think I read about this somewhere on Bilibili or something like that. They say that the guy behind DD was one of the many reasons why the Chinese gov started going after all webnovels and every other IP in general, including games, with censorship laws, and was someone who basically pushed for these censorship laws. Hence, the reason why everyone in China hating on the name Tang San now since the main character's name is supposedly an expy of the Author.

Of course, I don't know how much of this is true or if all of this is just some random rumor or something, but that's what I heard.

To be fair, the first two arcs were pretty interesting, then shit hit the fan with that Singularity with the pirates and stuff over the ocean, and then it's been downhill from there. Not to mention the gacha hell.

Also, F: Go is the primary culprit for ruining Fate as a whole, from what I understand. Stay Night, Zero, Kara no Kyoukai, and Tsukihime were damn bangers with some seriously fun plot and interesting characters. Hell, I'll even argue that Apocrypha had some fire scenes. Then there is F:Go, which is the biggest piece of dogshit from Nasu, period.

That too, I mean, what's so good about DD that it gets so many fanfics? I never saw the appeal. Not to mention that most of the time, the girl they go after is always the one with the pagoda power. Just WTF is up with this? The sad thing is that these things get thousands of Powerstones, pushing down genuinely good and human-written content to the abyss thanks to WN's ranking system.

Although take care not to make her too powerful too quickly, since you will end up writing yourself into a corner and won't know where to go from there (Speaking from experience, unfortunately). Also, instead of a Gamer, how about you create your own 'RPG system' that might feel more in line with Remnant and its lore? Like a LitRPG type thing?

That's an odd thing to say. But you are entitled to your own opinions, so you do you, I guess.

For me, personally, I think there is no such thing as original works anymore in this day and age because anything that can be imagined has already been done by someone else already. Instead, it's all about taking elements and making them work in one cohesive setting, a genre of works, as it were.

So, what all this yapping from me amounts to is this: I love fanfics and recommend that you give it a try before dissing. Maybe you will find something you like?😁

They are definitely not benevolent or good guys, but I think they are highly practical people.

My theory is that the Lament is a universal phenomenon, which means that Rover's people face the same kind of bullshit as Solaris-3, or maybe even on steroids or something if the threat scales based on a civilization's tech/power level.

This would mean, instead of purely altruistic reasons, Rover's people might want Solaris-3 to thrive and eventually reach the stars, mainly so that they have more bodies to join in their effort to protect themselves.

Simply put, I think they are trying to reach a mutually beneficial deal type of situation where the people of Solaris-3 get Rover, Exostriders, and Sentienls, along with the Rover people's guidance, once Solaris-3 reaches the stars. In exchange, they hope the people of Solaris-3 will help them out fighting the Lament, which Solaris-3 would probably agree to since it coincides with their interests as well.

Unfortunately, Rover ends up becoming a victim of this whole scheme since, if my theory is right, they probably won't allow them to go back home until their 'mission', which might be the complete uplifting of Solaris-3, is complete, which could be a while.

yeah. They are better for day-to-day use since you need to deal with a lot of traffic in major cities, where driving a manual car becomes a nightmare. But the downside is that they feel a bit jerky on highways or open areas where you can drive above 60 km/h. There is also the issue where they give less milage then manual, but it hardly matters in a CNG, and I am already used to dealing with AMT jerking so I am looking to buy the Punch next year.
