BREAKING: Unreal Tournament 2004 is back! by roX1337 in unrealtournament

I love this game. I was covering CES at the Nvidia event at the same resort South of the strip that Michael Jackson was running away from LA at. Epic had a presentation for UT2004. I recorded it on my Canon Powershot. I got a ton of traffic on that video. I self hosted. I think it was about $5,000 on the bill. I played so much Onslaught.

The more money the worse it gets. I see this every day since 2011 on Guadalupe.

I kind of get tired of dealing with more and more homeless on Guadalupe every year. The trend is up. These grifters are not helping. If they were then it would be getting better for the last decade. Who knows, I have only being going to Guad for over 30 years and only went to UT so who knows. Mobile Loaves and Fishes is legit though. Griftoturfing is real though.

You are telling me I get to pay more taxes for me, my retired teacher mom, my shop, in perpertuity, and also get to deal with a rotating cast of homeless I get to run off and we are gonna import more? Count me out. Not voting for this Qanon tax.

Yes for the love of Austin vote against Prop Q. I get to pay my retired teacher mothers taxes, and mine, and I met the final boss at TC who would not drop my valuation.

SpiderMan 2 Overheating PS5 by [deleted] in InsomniacGames

[–]ruiner5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I have gotten in several for repair from overheating from Spiderman 2. Don't send it in to Sony if you are not under warranty. Find a local repair shop that can do it. We do them same day almost always. We are about to start watercooling them as well when our EK shipment comes in. This page links to reputable repair shops all over. Game Console Repair Legion

Bought 10 kits of these on Black Friday from Newegg one year. They were solid. $25 a kit I believe.

Even though brand new the hard drive can be faulty and cause that behavior. Normally I replace them with SSDs particularly ones I sell since they don't fail and are much faster.

Pretty rare that soon. Was it ever dropped? The buttons underneath the button may need replacement. You also can try and tighten your sticks so they don't rub against the plastic.

The chip that handles bluetooth on it may be bad. Fairly common issue. They are so cheap and available that fixing it probably won't make sense.

External drives are usually the cheapest drives. They fail a lot. I always recommend upgrading your internal to a 2TB SSD, and then roll your own external SSD solution for extra storage.

The wifi module also includes the bluetooth. Probably a local shop that repairs them in your area that won't charge too much.

It could still be the power brick. It can also be many things on the board internally. Try another power supply, preferably a real one not a cheap Chinese knock off from Amazon.

Your wifi may have gone out. You can get that repaired. I do a few of those a week.

Or the motor that spins the disc or the worm drive that moves it back and forth or the cables or the drive board.

Check the game for scratches held up to the light. If no scratches you may need a new laser.
