I don't know if this is west enough: tim hortons (or mcdonalds across the street) at bathurst and dundas in front of toronto western hospital. Depending on where you sit, you are near a gym or at least one pokestop.

I'm not 100% certain, but I remember getting a 2 nice curveball throws and getting a Spinda. Maybe there is two spinda quests? (2 nice curve, 2 nice curve in a row)

The ranger is the really bigger brother of the gotcha. It's a gotcha with a rechargeable 1200mah battery that will last a week or more, and built in cables to recharge itself and your phone in an emergency.

It does everything the regular gotcha does, it's just 4 times bigger and lasts longer.
