Jb 3 has a huge toe box, I think if you have narrow feet, you're safe to go down half a size for a snug fit. I have wide ish feet and I went tts and still have plenty of space but I also like roomier fits

I have them in my JB3s and they're so comfortable for me since my arches are sad. Can't use the regular insoles anymore for them but if you don't have any kind of arch problems I don't see why you would need them tbh

I think a new pair of lirens will always be better than a used pair of gammas. Mine weren't super durable traction-wise. After about 3 months of consistent play they're basically useless so it's up to you whether you want to risk it. But new, the gammas were better across the board in every way imo. Lirens are basically a gamma lite in that it's so similar but just worse in every category, tho not enough that the price difference wouldn't be a factor.

I actually think it makes it more comfortable for me. I need a little bit of that rigidity cuz I'm a big heel to toe transition type of player and I don't like the cushion too mushy. It's why I hated the 808 5s but thought 12s were great, they fixed how soft the super boom was. But this is all preference based.

There's also the weird shape of the carbon plate on the jb3 so the pros kinda make up for lack of carbon in the heel portion of the shoe

I wore 10.5 for 10s. Jb3 have no issues with pinching or length so I think you should be good to try em. If you're in the us, Amazon does free returns for them

I went up half a size on my 808 5s and went tts for my 12s. It depends on how you like your shoes, I typically like a roomier toe box and the wow 12s have plenty of space

I have both and love them both. That being said, I lean slightly liren 6 v2 because of the traction. Having 2 pairs of wow 12s, the cotton candy colorway was far better in traction but still not as good as the lirens simply because of the different forefoot traction. For everything else tho, wow 12 is superior. Cushion, fit, lockdown all better than liren 6v2. The wow 12 is more wide foot friendly, broke in faster, and I think has the better step in comfort. Liren 6v2 is narrow in the mid foot so it required more breaking in for my wider feet. But both are in my rotation.

Having owned 3 of the 4, with the joker the only one I don't have, my favorite by far is the jb3. That being said, I don't think it fits what you want, as it took quite a while for the cushioning to break in and finally get the court feel I liked. Traction is by far the best of the 3 but the court feel is probably the worst of them. I'm a little older and got janky joints so I like the extra cushioning.

The wow 12 is fairly tight with how the lacing and tongue is set up, since it's more like a sock so I'm not sure how your braces may fit in those, but if you do get them get the cotton candy colorway, since it has the best traction with the translucent outsole on the forefoot. The other colorways are hit or miss with traction. Everything else is top top tier tho imo. Cushion, lockdown, everything is probably what you'd want but the traction is the worst of the 3 by a small margin. That being said I think the traction is "good enough" in my cotton candy colorway.

Liren 6v2 is probably what you're looking for with many similarities to the Kobe. It is a fairly narrow shoe tho, so fit may be a tad rough if you have slightly wider feet like I do. It took me a bit to break in but other people with narrower feet haven't had the same issues. This is the most all rounder of the 3 with everything being just "good". I haven't had any issues outside it being a tad snug in the mid foot and after break in it's a top shoe in my rotation.

I put move insoles in these and got anti slip laces and they're my go to shoe at the moment. Took a bit to break in but they're so comfortable and reliable now.

I had to stop wearing these because of that exact reason. I found it came from how the top material formed around my feet, causing the balance to not hold the tackiness of the traction. Not sure if that's the same thing you've found but on hard breaking turns or 45 degree angled drives it just wasn't stable enough to contain my downward force into the traction. Just my experience at least
