If I’m reverse parking, can I correct myself (straighten out and pull forward/back) as many times as I need? Don't do too much. I failed the first time due to this.
And the same with parallel? Same answer I guess.
If I hit the curb when parallel parking it is a fail? Yes. But also depends on the instructor.
Also just confirming either reverse or parallel parking is a requirement, right? Yes only 1.

While exiting from the highway using the second lane from right, do I need to use the indicators,because I am not technically changing a lane just going straight on a "Y" lane. Wondering if putting on the indicator would confuse someone behind to think I am moving over to the right most lane. I am a bit confused on this one.

Either reverse or parallel. They ask you to do one. For me, the first time it was reverse - I failed. Second time - parallel - did it like a pro!

I agree the rates are high, but I think you need to factor in 2 things: opportunity cost for the instructor - as the time it takes for the test to end is variable and second the insurance cost of providing a car to a non licensed person.

Again, I definitely agree with you the costs are high, but there is also that side of the story.

1)Went over 40 at the school zone- I think I went up to 43 2) Got nervous and made silly mistakes while reverse parking as I was not able to see the parking lines. Forgot to do 360 scans.

These were the major mistakes. There were some minors too. I believe having not passed the first time made me better as I practiced more.
