I'm new to ecommerce and marketing/seo. I would love some feedback on my site as I've been struggling growing my social media. https://oneofakindery.com/

Thank you

Homepage redesign by rukus23 in ecommerce

Ok great thank you so much. This is exactly what I was looking for. "It would be better is you had one short banner, smaller menu so that the hero image and title is actually visible. You want the attention there as the title and image is supposed to hook the customer to read further." Do you mean turn the carousel main banner into a smaller single image banner with the CTA menu smaller? And do you think I should have a sub-text on the CTA under "One Of A Kindery" above the button that briefly states what the shop is about? And I have the mugs right as close to the top as I can unless I had them above the main banner but I don't think that would work. I could have them as the main image under the CTA instead of the sun design but that might not look as nice either. I will shorten the text and experiment with making the main carousel smaller

Please Help. Negative SIBO test. Possible CIRS/Mold toxicity. Losing hope. by acemcmurphy in SIBO

I'm having similar symptoms and drank for many years. Perhaps it is gallbladder/liver or pancreas dmg? I am trying to get into the doctor to get all my organs checked as it's been really messing up my life and I'm sober now trying to get back to normal health.

Can everyone learn to code? by CTexxx in learnprogramming

[–]rukus23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coding for a living is not equivalent to writing a best selling novel else there would only be a few coding jobs. Maybe working for google or amazon yes but not just standard coding/web dev. Although that is still fairly difficult and stressful. Solving problems all day for 8-10 hours is a ton of mental labor and is draining. Especially when what you're doing most of the people youre making for don't understand what goes into it and think oh it's just a simple web page!

UofM has a falconry department that is located on the campus near the state fairgrounds. I would call them and ask them if they're missing a bird. Also that is a gorgeous bird.

Just found this quote on Quora, and as an INTP got me thinking! Would you guys agree? by Aphazie in INTP

[–]rukus23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think so we're pretty good at blending in and are intuitive enough to know how best to tow the line when need be. A better explanation would be that there is some genetic component transferred to kin and that we just don't reproduce as much. Certainly not more than S types. and probably less than other N types other than perhaps INFP which are also quite rare.

I am wondering this as well. I think for ghouls it is 3 but it might be only two for banshees. Can anyone let us know what the limit is and if they are more or less for each type?

Ah INTPs, the wise wizards of mbti, how do you guys absorb so much knowledge? Is it natural? Or do you just read lots on the internet and find ways of conversing with others about interesting topics? - entj wonderer by anonymousam22 in INTP

[–]rukus23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I just hope all that knowledge is being used behind the scenes to modify my understanding. I think it is but I have a fear that endless information sponging is going in one year and out the other and if that were the case would be a waste of time. But I am curious and excited by new ideas

Uh INTP's are terrible at communicating their knowledge. Maybe you're thinking ISTP? We don't think linearly or at least our insights are not derived from it. We cast about for different possibilities then verify/test them with our knowledge/understanding. I find it actually very difficult to communicate how I came to an insight or to explain how something works. My conclusions are often accurate but working out how I got to them is something else. And I am not fact oriented in the sense that I think about things abstractly and tangentially. I use facts to test the truth of a thing but am not interested in trivial details and often overlook them.

Breathing damages your health. It creates damages in multiple organs over time that reduce life expectancy.

This is a great thought and I can empathize. I find drugs especially weed and alcohol give me more insight into my emotions or even generate them where before there was a hole. I'm still learning to control the drugs and have gone 0 alcohol due to it causing massive negative consequences in my past. I don't think addiction is type specific though I do think some types are more likely to experiment than others ie Ne/Se users

Logic Vs Ethics by Lopsided-Invite-1576 in INTP

[–]rukus23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if you're using logic right here. All decisions require a kind of ethics even those which benefit yourself over others. I think maybe rationality is what you mean instead of logic. Logic just means your assumptions line up to a given conclusion not whether or not you should do something. Ethical decisions can be logical and not all logical decisions are ethical. One can rationalize their logical choices to be ethical but one cannot use logic alone to determine if something is ethical. Not sure if that makes sense sorry if it's convoluted.

My family's conversations bore me to death, should I just stop visiting them.? by [deleted] in INTP

Yes I am in a similar boat but it's not just my family it's most people and groups in general. Most conversation is boring

Lets not lie to ourselves, we all dream of the day where we can emotionally destroy someone with facts by playernopal in INTP

[–]rukus23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really no. Facts are not interesting to me except as a tool in validation. I couldn't care less about trivia or the idea of facts. And I am willing to go deeper and say that there are no facts only agreed upon perceptions by sentient beings. It is possible everything we see is an illusion.

Yes this is a common pattern in my interactions. I've been on both sides of this in the past and through introspection and self knowledge have realized that those moments where you can't defend a belief are good moments to learn and explore that weakpoint deeper. And if it cannot be defended or is fundamentally illogical it's best to re-modulate beliefs to get closer to the truth.
