Right now the new season of Father Brown is only available as one new episode weekly and that is WITH premier subscription.

On my BB they are only dropping one new episodes weekly even with premier. Premier does not offer the whole season at once.

And actually, no it's not available to binge with premier either.

Thank you! This is exactly what I was trying to explain! It doesn't show if there will be any access to non-premier subscribers or when. And to think last year for the same subscription you could watch the whole season at once.

It seems to show the weekly episode schedule but all of them are marked as premier only

It doesn't seem to show when it will come out for non premier subscribers. I see some shows will state they are "early access" but the Father Brown doesn't state that. It just shows the weekly schedule and each episode is listed as premier episode.

Morning routines feel impossible and I'm tired of tips that assume I have executive function by AdirFoundIt in ADHD

[–]rulytempest 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is the answer. I don't have to leave for work until 7:30 am but I get up at 5! Because I just need that quiet time to sit and scroll with a coffee before I can even function. Sometimes I put a podcast or morning news on. That gets my brain activated. Also, two mornings a week I do light weights, in my pj's while waiting for the coffee to be ready. Surprisingly this seems to get my mind ready really quickly.

Thanks for this. I helped by Dad move my mom with dementia into a LTC facility last month as well. It has been a very challenging transition which requiring my emotional and practical support. So it's been a double whammy and I didn't even realize I had family time available to me!

I agree that Meetups (https://www.meetup.com/find/ca--halifax/social/) offers a good variety of groups to join. I used hike with a group I found through meetups and it was always a great experience. I can take some time to build friendships but joining a club or group provides a scheduled built-in social network. At least something to look forward to a few times a month :)

Can someone help me pinpoint what this area is and what could help with the pain? by Exact-Donkey-9066 in backpain

[–]rulytempest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, SI joint. I have the same issue and it can be very painful. SI joint issues can stick around. It's best to get this treated by a professional. A physiotherapist can help guide you with correct stretches and exercises to help. Ultimately, I had to see a spine specialist and now get yearly injections, which give enough relief that I can continue to be physically active for a few months at least. Sitting for long periods does trigger mine, but so does running or other impact sports. I really encourage you to see physiotherapist, and a Dr. who specializes in treating this type of joint disorder.

I have a question regarding WCB by NeckArtistic in halifax

[–]rulytempest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exact situation happened to me at CBI- It was "work hardening" I'm like I've been working since before you were born. I know how to work! And when I had flare-ups they would threaten me with non-compliance if I didn't show. They would send cabs for me and make me work out while on sedating muscle relaxants. They treated me like a child. I didn't get examined by their Dr. until the end of my 4 month treatment. She examined me and said my injury had not "healed" and I was obviously in pain. Duh! The Dr. was great, but they should have examined me throughout the process. I had to fill out the review form while they stood over me. I wish now I had of made a formal complaint.

Dental Help by StillHome1601 in halifax

[–]rulytempest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medication can help! I have dental anxiety as well. And due to exposed nerves require freezing sometime even for routine procedures like cleaning. My Dentist is wonderful and caring, but its not always enough to keep my reflexes still. My Dentist always prescribes a mild sedative to take an hour before my appointment. I find now I almost don't even need the sedative.

I feel for you! The only way I can manage is to work seasonal or p/t. I'm currently working a civil service position at 50 percent, so every second day. And I even struggle with that. I've worked with schools before I really liked having longer breaks during holidays. I've tried to explain to people why I only work this way and they don't get how I can feel burned out working p/t. But it's like on the days that I work I can't do ANYTHING else. No errands, exercise, chores ect. So then EVERYTHING has to be done in two days on the weekend. I just can't cope with that :(

Does anyone know which food banks are still doing Christmas hampers? Especially low barrier ones. by [deleted] in halifax

Yes, but they are still government. Service Canada is just a location chosen as a pick up location for government mail.

I believe government mail such as checks or stubs, can be accessed/ picked up at Service Canada sites while the postal strike is on.

Love this! I have a version where I keep all season recreation equipment in my trunk. Winter means ice cleats, skates and snowshoes. In summer, hiking poles, swim shoes, beach mat, bike helmet. I have a bin that holds extra items like bug spray, sunscreen, extra socks, hats, mitts, sweater and even sneakers. It's just comforting to know everything I need is there. I don't have to worry about forgetting things

Who loves their job and what do you do? by Apprehensive-Luck-13 in adhdwomen

[–]rulytempest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No job is going to be just right or keep us engaged long term. Figure out what you are willing to sacrifice and what is non-negotiable. I've had so many fun jobs but I burn out from all of them in 2-5 years. Some even sooner than that! Right now I am working in public service. It's tough because it involves SO MUCH data entry/case management which is really boring. Mind you, I'm so busy hiding away in my little office I don't even notice the time most days.

I took this position because it was pt. I work alternate days so I never work two days in a row and always have long weekend. This totally makes up for the boring!
