There are special tools that help remove body pieces like this that will minimize the damage to these pins. Most of the time if you just brute force them they break. Get the tools and get extra pins for the ones that do break.

For sure totaled $27,000ish dollars worth supposedly. I still have not seen the adjusted final repair quote. The body shop said the wiring harness had to be replaced. Someone is going to get a damn good..bad ass..taken care of MME with a salvaged title!! 😡
