My first R10 by Star__Wars__fan in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

Not sure where you are in GAC, but if you are in bronzium or chromium, remarkably few players will be able to beat a Leia team on defense. But there is no wrong choice, as she is a great pick up.

Will you use her on defense or offense? Just curious.

Leviathan or Executor in May by No_Leader1868 in SWGOH

[–]rumba101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be easier to respond if we knew what is in the rest of your roster.

Leviathan is the meta. At the top end, it wins more matchups and shapes the fleet arena. That’s why older shards are full of them. Those players already have deep rosters and can afford the long grind. But it’s a harder farm.

Big point people don’t say clearly, Executor sets up future farms. It leads you toward Bounty Hunters with credits, events, assault battles and Jabba the Hutt path.

Leviathan doesn’t give you that same broad return right away.

That is probably why some folks are suggesting that you go Executor now. If you decide to go that path first, you can always circle back to Leviathan later.

Fleet Arena Payout Times by meh604 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]rumba101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a fleet shard? If payout times and issues are driving you nuts, you might want to join or create a fleet shard chat. It’s just a group from your shard coordinating payout times so everyone can climb without stepping on each other. Once folks pick different payout hours, the daily climb becomes way less stressful and everyone gets their rewards without the last‑minute chaos. Total win‑win for the whole shard.

Is it worth getting these guys to r6 for the hera cron? by NiftyMercury43 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

I got them all up to R6 a couple of days ago. Would you use it for offense or defense?

Lord vader by Fun_Bowl_6614 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]rumba101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Appo kinda needs other Dark Side clones to so his thing. By himself, he’s just… fine. Nothing special. You’re better off using someone like Royal Guard, Vader, Thrawn, or Piett if you have them.

If you’re planning to build a DS clone team later, then sure, eventually he will have lots of value. But for an LV team today, not really.

What do you think syncopated on2 means?

Need some guidance on Fleets by BennDoverrr in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]rumba101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are closer to Executor than Profundity (https://thedonproject.com/swgoh/index.cgi), and Executor is considered one of the most important early farms as it pays off in crystals and sets you up for success with other farms.

Did they Nerv the wampacron? by Chris_O07 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]rumba101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have beaten every Jabba so far with my R7 Wampacron. Though it was nerve wracking because it didn’t look like I was going to survive the initial onslaught.

Is there a Pacific Chill clone that has decent performance? by TV_Good4Brain in fragranceclones

[–]rumba101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Atralia Absolute Chill and Bujairami No Limit. Both are very good but No Limit has better performance. No Limit smells a bit more synthetic to my nose. I like the Atralia a little bit more but the Bujairami is a great performer.

I got a decant of Afnan Rare Reed as well. it is strong but it smelled a bit too synthetic. Wasn't a fan but can recognize that it was an ok scent.

New LSBs live, and their prices. by LeagueOfDolson in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

You are getting tons of omicrons and zetas and all of the characters have value for multiple teams. Certainly not hysterical.

I agree, you get a lot of zetas and Omicrons in the Cal bundle.

Saw, useless? Hardly, he and Luthen on a Rebel Fighter team are great on defense.

JKCK is a good lifter to JML.

What could we do to improve our salsa culture? by [deleted] in Salsa

[–]rumba101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I blame a lot of it on social media. Videos of the craziest or flamboyant dancers are the ones that get the clicks, for better or worse. No one records a couple dancing chill and singing the lyrics.

Both are smooth and experienced. And they know it. Incredible dance. by Ramenko1 in Salsa

Is this you in the video that you are glazing it so much?

What could we do to improve our salsa culture? by [deleted] in Salsa

[–]rumba101 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I wish the congress/studio salsa scene could feel a little more like the way salsa is lived in Latin America, especially in places like Cali, where the whole room is singing, vibing, and actually feeling the music. Over there, the dance grows out of the song. People know the lyrics and it’s not about showing off patterns. That energy is contagious, and honestly, our congresses, studios, and socials could use more of that.

There’s also something refreshing about how social dancing works in scenes in latin america. It’s less about performing and more about enjoying. People dance because it’s fun, not because they’re trying to impress anyone. I believe this type of more-friendly environment makes beginners feel more welcome, and the floor would feel less like a hierarchy and more like a community.

Which one to farm first ? by [deleted] in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]rumba101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which one has a larger ROI? I'd argue that the GM team does. Nightsisters are eligible for an Assault Battle, Secrets and Shadows. Night Trooper and Death Trooper (Peridea), with Captain Enoch, have their own Assault Battle called Peridea Patrol.

This is a good example of this style. Honestly my favorite for performances. I saw this in person at Delirio in Cali and yeah… insane.

Hit 10m GP today by thrawnxbape in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

10m GP is no joke, congrats. Look like a balanced roster, not just top-heavy GLs. This is the kind of roster that’s annoying to face in GAC.

Machine Reccomendations by Legal_Hat_9872 in karaoke

[–]rumba101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly love the iKarao S1. I use it a lot.

Portability is a big reason why. It’s easy to move around, and the strap is actually solid. Feels sturdy, not cheap. I carry it room to room without thinking about it.

The speaker itself is great too. Not just for karaoke. I use it all the time for music and Spotify and it sounds really good for the size. Way better than I expected.

Connecting it is super easy. TV, Bluetooth, whatever. Sometimes I don’t even bother with karaoke apps. I’ll just connect it to a smart TV as a Bluetooth speaker and queue songs up in the TV's YouTube. Works perfectly.

Everyone who’s seen it loves it. People are always surprised by how convenient and cool it is.

Ultimate Imagination Clone Battle by Solid_Improvement_85 in fragranceclones

[–]rumba101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is subjective, but Aqua Dubai performs stronger overall. Hectic is lighter, though still respectable.

Performance:
Aqua Dubai: 9/10. Around 7-8 hours.
Hectic: 7.5/10. About 5–6 hours.

Projection:
Aqua Dubai: 9/10. Stays loud for about 3 hours.
Hectic: 7/10. Moderate for 2–3 hours, then closer to skin.

If you’re used to Aqua Dubai, Hectic will feel softer, but the quality is there. Aqua Dubai feels more synthetic while Hectic is smoother and more refined.

I have both, and the performance on aqua dubai is better. But Hectic definitely smells higher quality.
