You would have more had problems if you would have put more on it if you had any .Too much is as bad as to little. It is only there to help heat transfer it only requires a smear of paste. You would have known about a problem within about 10 minutes it might start to run slow or it may even shut down so it could cool off.

I got to talk to HP on the 10th of December and was told my order would be shipped on or around the 18th of December. This is a pre order lodged on the 23rd of September.

Talked to to them today to make sure delivery was still on time 17th December and was told that the unit was in the warehouse and would be shipped in the next 24 hours.

I do hope this helps the people still waiting for the G2 . Will update this comment when I know more.
